Chinatown Sydney Australia Friday Night Markets 2019 (HD)
Sydney's Chinatown Friday Night Markets are one of the busiest night markets in Sydney, full of Asian street food, restaurants, street performers, designer and artist stalls offering unique products and culture. The Chinatown night markets are on every Friday night from 4pm to 11pm, popular with locals and tourists.
Chinatown Sydney is located in Haymarket on Dixon Street, a pedestrian street mall, we start at the Goulburn Street end and walk down to the Hay Street end. Along the way we venture up Little Hay Street, the centre street across Dixon Street, where we find a variety of Asian street foods on offer. A quick look over to the famous Golden Century Restaurant seafood tanks on Sussex Street, then over to the unique Kimber Lane, where we see glowing blue spirit guides hovering over the cloud mural walls and backstreet. We then continue down Chinatown's Dixon Street, passing by the never-ending queue for the Emperor's Puff! Finishing off at the Covent Garden Hotel at Hay Street end of Chinatown.

CHINATOWN IN AUSTRALIA | Melbourne, Australia
This is what Chinatown looks like in Melbourne, Australia.
It's just a small laneway stretching 2 blocks in length. It pales in comparison to Bangkok's Chinatown, but I think Melbourne's one is still pretty cool.
Cars use to be able to park along the curb of the laneway, but it seems like that have banned that. It looks much wider now, due to that, but it also makes it look much wider and more emptier.
Thank you for watching.

Sydney is the state capital of New South Wales and the most populous city in Australia and Oceania. Located on Australia's east coast, the metropolis surrounds Port Jackson and extends about 70 km (43.5 mi) on its periphery towards the Blue Mountains to the west, Hawkesbury to the north, the Royal National Park to the south and Macarthur to the south-west. Sydney is made up of 658 suburbs, 40 local government areas and 15 contiguous regions. Residents of the city are known as Sydneysiders. As of June 2017, Sydney's estimated metropolitan population was 5,230,330 and is home to approximately 65% of the state's population.
Chinatown is an urban locality in the southern part of the Sydney central business district, in New South Wales, Australia. It is located in Haymarket, between Central station and Darling Harbour. It is part of the local government area of the City of Sydney and is Australia's largest Chinatown.
Sydney and the colony of New South Wales experienced large waves of Chinese immigration during the gold rush years. The site of Chinatown has existed in at least one other area in Sydney historically, with the earliest site being around the Rocks district. Many of the Chinese stayed in the country even after the gold rush boom years ended, weathering the sentiment that was unleashed during the anti-immigration years.
