4K 知覧武家屋敷庭園 Chiran Samurai Gardens , Kagoshima Kyushu Japan
Chiran 知覧 is a small town in the middle of the Satsuma Peninsula in Kagoshima Prefecture, Kyushu Japan. There is a preserved samurai district with houses and gardens built about 250 years ago. Most of the gardens were built in the 17th century by gardeners brought from Kyoto for the purpose.
Chiran's Seven Samurai gardens at the southern end of Kyushu keep much of its historical character intact.
The preserved samurai district consists of a 700 meter long street. The street itself is very attractive, with the rock walls and hedges of residences and the forested hillsides in the distance. It is also free of telephone cables and parked cars that would detract from the historic atmosphere.

This is all video footage take on the 22nd of November in a little town in Japan called Chiran in Kagoshima prefecture. I chose not to narrate or to add music, and through most of the film you can hear the rain. The last garden was patently the best- we were cold and soaking wet, but this one was worth it, Chiran is also famous for green tea, and being annoyingly difficult to get back to Kagoshima from.

Walking in Himeji Koko-en Garden 4 ,autumn colors（秋の紅葉。姫路・好古園 4）
姫路城の西にある好古園。
ほぼノーカットで。ゆっくり歩きました。
好古園は武家屋敷と日本庭園が再現されており、春夏秋冬、様々な風景を楽しめますが、今の季節は紅葉が綺麗です。
それに様々な映画やドラマのロケ地としても使われていますので、好きな作品があれば、そのシーンの風景を探してみるのもいいかもしれません。

The Satsuma Peninsula 薩摩半島 is a peninsula which projects south from the southwest part of Kyūshū Island, Japan. To the west lies the East China Sea, while to the east it faces the Osumi Peninsula across Kagoshima Bay. Politically it belongs to Kagoshima Prefecture.
Near the southern tip of the peninsula is the 924-metre Mount Kaimon and the hot springs of Ibusuki Onsen.
Chiran tea 知覧茶 is a type of Japanese green tea produced in Chiran, a former town in Kagoshima Prefecture, which is now part of Minamikyūshū.

This was the last house on our tour of the Samurai Houses in Chiran. It is beautiful to see, but even more beautiful to be there.
