Chiryu Aichi Japan Tourism. Chiryū (知立市 Chiryū-shi?) is a city located in central Aichi Prefecture, Japan.
As of August 1, 2016, the city had an estimated population of 71,142 and a population density of 4,361.86 persons per km². The total area was 16.31 square kilometres (6.30 sq mi).

My bike ride from Toyota City to Chiryu City (Aichi, Japan) in order to see the Irises at Temple Muryojuji, a beautiful sight that is only available late April to Early May. I found this Temple online with a bunch of recommendations for interesting things to see in Aichi.

Seulement au Japon - Le festival Akiba de Chiryu et ses feux d'artifices Tezutsu
Venez passer une soirée de début d'automne avec les jeunes de six villages environnant le temple de Chiryu, au sud de Nagoya. Vous pourrez vous régaler en regardant les jeunes sauter et entonner le chant nagamochiuta tout en transportant leur coffre en bois tamabako.
À la tombée de la journée, les pompiers du village sont sur place afin de s'assurer que la cérémonie de bravoure de l'offrande des feux d'artifices se déroule sans heurts. Chacune des six équipe défile à tour de rôle. Ses équipiers forment un cercle, face vers l'intérieur. Les jeunes tiennent conjointement des bamboos évidés entre eux. Les troncs sont remplis de poudre de feu d'artifice. Puis, l'artificier les allume tous. Les jeunes doivent alors braver les innombrables étincelles incandescentes qui retombent sur leur corps.
Une autre expérience unique du Japon. Savourez la!
The Japanese Iris Fields in Kiyosumi Gardens (清澄庭園 花菖蒲田)
Japanese Iris grows in the wet land and is the most extensively cultivated variety in Japanese gardens. According to the place where it was cultivated, it is classified into the Edo (Tokyo), Higo (Kumamoto Prefecture), Ise (Mie Prefecture), American (U.S.A.) and other series.
In Kiyosumi Gardens,there is a view that this garden was the site of the residence of the famous Edo Period business magnate, Kinokuniya Bunzaemon. In later years (1716 to 1736), it became the location of the Edo residence of the Lord of Sekiyado castle, Shimofusa-no-kuni (part of present day Chiba) and this is the period when the basic form of the garden came into existence.

かきつばた祭の続きです。アップロードと編集の都合で順番が前後しています。

2011年5月13日、愛知県知立市八橋町のかきつばた祭の様子を、3Dカメラで撮影しました。例年、ゴールデンウィークの時期に開花しますが、今年は開花が送れ、日陰の所はまだつぼみが多く残っていました。
およそ3万株のかきつばたが植えられているそうですが、昨年の猛暑の影響で、一部は枯れてしまったようです。

知立祭りで宮入り後、山車文楽やからくりが奉納された後
山車を回転させてから宮出をします。
