Chongqing is located in the southwest of China, bordering hubei and hunan in the east, guizhou in the south, sichuan in the west and shaanxi in the north. With a total area of 82,400 square kilometers, it has jurisdiction over 38 districts and counties (autonomous counties). In 2017, the number of permanent residents was 30.7516 million, with a GDP of 1950.27 billion yuan. It is also known as the hot pot capital of China, the exhibition city of China and the hot spring capital of the world.
Chongqing is a comprehensive transportation hub in southwest China, connecting east and west and north and south. Its jiangbei airport is one of the top ten airports in inland China, and orchard port is the starting point of chongqing-xinjiang-europe grand corridor. Chongqing is located in the eastern part of the basin. The topography is inclined from south to north to the Yangtze river valley. The climate is warm in winter and early in spring, hot in summer and cool in autumn.

China-made driverless cars begin 2,000-km road test
Two driverless cars developed by China's Chang'an Automobile Group started a long-distance test drive from Chongqing to Beijing on Tuesday. The trip is expected to take five days.
Hyundai Motor Group faces competition from Chinese local automakers

Korea′s top automaker Hyundai Motor Group is losing ground in the lucrative Chinese auto market due to competition from local brands.
The Korean firm isn′t the only automaker suffering either.
Shin Se－min reports.
Despite the steep decline of Chinese stocks driven by the slowing economy，… its local automakers are all smiles，… enjoying robust sales.
Chinese local automakers have put Korea′s top auto brand Hyundai Motor Group to the test.
Looking at the figures，… Chinese manufacturer Changan Automobile Co. sold 446－thousand units， experiencing over 53－percent of growth in the first seven months of this year.
China′s largest SUV maker， the Great Wall Motors posted an on－year growth of 31－percent，… to over 390－thousand units during the stated period.
That′s over 16－and－8－percent on－year growth for Changan and the Great Wall Motors for the month of July respectively.
In contrast， Korea′s Hyundai Motor in the Chinese auto market saw sales drop nearly eleven percent in the January－to－July period，… while its sister company Kia Motors saw over six－percent on－year drop in its sales.
The firms accounted for a total of seven－and－a－half percent market share，...below the ten percent share recorded in May.
Korean automakers aren′t the only companies taking a hit in the Chinese market.
Last month， sales of Germany′s Volkwagen Group declined nearly 30－percent on－year，… with Shanghai General Motors Co. also seeing a drop of 24－percent.
Industry officials say it all boils down to cheaper prices.
With Chinese automakers churning out cheaper vehicles，… at less than half the price of its foreign competitors，… experts say it′s becoming much more difficult to win over Chinese drivers，… with most looking for ways to cut spending due to the sluggish domestic economic growth.

The air-conditioned hotel offers 130 rooms and was built in 2009. It features a lobby with 24-hour reception/check-out service, hotel safe, lift access, breakfast room, Internet access, room service, laundry service and a car park. TV studio hall is a major venue for theatre and the arts. The height of the building is 12.2 m and the construction area is 1,332.84 m. There are three small studios of 300-700 m in size, three post-production rooms and four conference rooms that can accommodate 40-150 people.
The hotel is located inside the Beijing Broadcasting Tower, with Chang'an Avenue to the north, Dongsan Huan to the east and Jianguomen to the west. It is situated between Wangfujing business area and the CBD business area, near the Jianguomen business area which connects Donger Huan and Dongsan Huan.
The bright and spacious rooms provide guests with a comfortable environment, featuring ancient rosewood furniture that shows the elegant traditional culture and creates a harmonious atmosphere. All rooms feature an en suite bathroom with bathtub and shower, hairdryer, as well as a double bed, direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, Internet access and safe. There is also a minibar, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, ironing set and air conditioning/central heating.
The restaurant accommodates 230 people and is situated at the top of the building. It also offers 5 VIP rooms and 8 business boxes. A continental breakfast buffet is served each morning.

The Beijing Central Business District, or Beijing CBD , is the primary area for finance, media, and business services in Beijing, China.
Beijing CBD occupies 3.99 km2 of the Chaoyang District on the east side of the city. Geographically situated to the east of the city center, sandwiched between the 3rd Ring Road and the 4th Ring Road, the Beijing CBD is currently undergoing large-scale development.
As Beijing is becoming one of the most important international financial centers in China, Beijing CBD was recently positioned as the secondary core area in Beijing's International Financial Center Development strategic plan published in May, 2008. Beijing CBD is also emerging as China's media center as Beijing Television Station (BTV) just moved in its new headquarters (Beijing TV Centre) in this area and the new CCTV Headquarters was officially opened on 15 June 2008 night.
In the eight years since the government decided to speed up construction of the district, the Beijing CBD has attracted 117 Fortune 500 businesses in the financial, media, information technology, consulting and service industries. More than 60 percent of overseas-funded companies in Beijing are in the CBD. A majority of foreign embassies in Beijing - the No 1, No 2 and No 3 embassy districts are now concentrated in the Beijing CBD and its neighboring areas.
The Beijing CBD Administrative Committee, established in 2001, is in charge of planning and management and aims to facilitate investments and improve the work environment for professionals.The committee provides information to investors on laws, taxes and state policies as well as a one-stop service, which has simplified approval procedures and raised efficiency.
