Last Thursday I had an awesome day in Choshi, Chiba

Inubozaki LIGHTHOUSE (Choshi, Chiba, Japan)
I went to Inubozaki lighthouse 犬吠埼灯台 by bicycle with my friend. Inubozaki is the most east point of Japan. The number of steps is 99, because there is Kujukurihama beach 九十九里浜 near the lighthouse (Kujuku means 99).

Choshi is westernmost city of Chiba peninsula. While other Chiba prefecture except Chiba city looks like some countryside this one looks like some resort.
I started too late because of late lunch in Around the Corner and got late for the train I planned to take so I had to wait for another one. Then I rode to Inubo station and walked to Inubosaki lighthouse. I did not expect but I could get inside, specially for that day it stayed opened longer.

【4K】Shimokitazawa Awa Odori - 2018

And I came to Shimokitazawa for Awa-odori again. As I said before this is the best Awa Odori event where you can watch everything just in front of you and even participate. It's still crowded but you can find better places to watch.

【4K】Mini-walk in Tokyo village Hinohara
Not a vlog, no intrusive faces or talking, pure Japan only.
Video is a bit jerky in some places, that was a year ago my first iteration of gimbal rain protection. Now I use 4th and thinking to make 5th version printed by 3D printer, it will be permanently installed.
Last year I decided to check the biggest village of Tokyo - Hinohara. Not everything went according to plan though. Village is spread across mountain roads, therefore the walk between them would took too much time. Also, It was raining at some moment, so the walk turned out to be a short one. But regardless, I recorded this video and felt bad to throw it away. Also, processing of my recent video from Kawagoe is taking longer than I expected. So, why not to publish this video and also test new feature I got - Premiere.
Walk start from short footage at Akiruno town, the last train stop. Next short footage is from the bus I had to take to the center of Hinohara. In Hinohara I found a temple and waterfall.

【4K】Rainy walk in evening Shibamata

I was busy on weekend and did not walk, so I decided to do it after work. I expected some raining so protected gear before it started.
Shibamata district is located in Katsushika city in the north-eastern part of Tokyo. Unfortunately shrine I was going to was closed, but street in front of it was looking nice and old. I plan to come here again later during the day.

【4K】Forgotten Kichijoji walk

More than a year ago I took a walk in Kichijoji but because of focusing issue in some fragment of the walk I decided to check it later and... forgot about it. The main reason why I decided to publish it now is one of comments about walking around Ghibli museum. I had outside view of the museum in 720p stream only. Now I found it in 4K too. I had to cut off unfocused part and now here it is.
That was in the beginning of sakura bloom. I walked through the park and finished after Ghibli museum.

That's 2017 year video taken with my older Lumix GH4 camera in 4K but 30p, not that good colors and sharpness. Also lens is old too, no filter thread so no ND filter and so it's less sharp because of that too.

【4K】Walking at cats island - Tashirojima

After Fox village I went to Ishinomaki because ferry to cats island goes from there. So next morning I went to pier and filmed a video on the way. At the pier I found that ferry is cancelled for whole day because of strong wind. So I went to Sendai and filmed a walk there and after that went back to Ishinomaki city for the next try next day.
Fortunately next day was OK so at about 10am I was on the island.
The island has two piers and I decided to walk from one to another. I also tried to use my new drone for more (i hope) immersive walk beginning and ending.
At the first pier first 20 minutes there was no any cats at all, but at cats shrine I found few and even more at tourist centre. Manga island has probably most of cats. So if cats is the main goal you should go directly to the second pier.
