Take limited express train Shiosai from Tokyo Station and get off at Choshi terminal.
Choshi Electric railway station is located end of the JR platform in Choshi station.
To go to Tokawa or Inuboh, take Choshi Electric Railway and get off at Tokawa or Inuboh.

It has prospered as a port of Toho Shipping from Tohoku in the old days, starting with the Lion Fishing Port ( specific Type 3 fishing port ) that boasts the largest amount of landing in Japan [1] , focusing on soy sauce brewing with the brand of Top Soy Sauce Miso, miso, fishery industry , distribution industry are prosperous and develop as trading city of Tone shipping to bring to Edo . The coastline with a scenic location is designated as Mizugo Tsukuba Quasi-National Park , with the Lion Geopark in the whole city, making it a touristic city that has been a popular tourist destination for many literary artists.

地震で銚子付近と出ると漁港周辺の震源地が多いので見に来たけど何も無い。深度5km,M2,7位が多い今日この頃。
県は２５日、銚子沖で採取した水産物４種類の放射性物質を検査した結果、カタクチイワシから暫定規制値以下のごく微量の放射性セシウムが検出されただけで、マサバ、ヤリイカ、ヒラメからは検出されなかったと発表した。イワシから検出された放射性セシウムは１キロ当たり３ベクレル（暫定規制値は５００ベクレル）。銚子市漁協（組合員２００人）の坂本雅信組合長（５２）は記者会見で「出漁を見合わせていたが、千葉の魚の安全宣言と受け止める。消費者の方々に安心して食べてほしい」と語った。

漁協によると、津波の際に沖に避難して無事だった船は出漁準備を進めてきたが、福島第１原発事故の影響で１０日間休漁。２３～２４日の試験操業で取ったキンメダイやサバなどを検査に回していた。２６日未明から一斉に出漁する予定。坂本組合長は「被災した東北の船から銚子に入港したいとの要請もあり、荷揚げや給油など可能な限り対応していく」と話した。
