Our DANOPOL® PVC single ply membrane waterproofing was selected to waterproof the structural metal deck and areas and included a bespoke acoustic construction design for the cinema roof.
For the rooftop terrace areas, walkways, and internal shopping promenades, our DURA-DAN® structural hot melt waterproofing system along with DANOPREN® XPS thermal insulation and DANODREN® drainage boards were supplied.
The original building was refurbished using our POLYDAN® reinforced bitumen membrane waterproofing system, extending the existing roof service life by at least 30 years.

Today I give you a walking tour of Busan's famed fish market known for its fresh seafood: Jagalchi Shijang (자갈치시장). It used to be outdoor, but upon the construction of the new building, vendors moved inside. Many stalls continue to set up outside, which I found to be a much more fun experience to venture through. Feel free to buy your raw fish on the first floor and enjoy it on the second floor where restaurants will set up side dishes. Otherwise you can purchase the fish directly from the restaurant. Watch to see the action unfold!
