Help us to restore and save our Wegenstein pipe organ
Civic organisation Prijatelji vršačkih orgulja (Vršac Organ Association) notifies all interested parties that a fund for the renovation of the organ of St. Gerard Church in Vršac was founded.
In this regard, an anniversary CD-album The Pipe Organ of St. Gerhard Church in Vršac - 100 Years of Sounding Jewel of Vojvodina has been published with a circulation of 1000 copies. There are 12 pieces written by renowned composers who lived and worked in different epochs - from the early Baroque to the late Romanticism. The music was performed and recorded in St. Gerhard Church in Vršac, by famous Serbian artists, on this pipe organ and the other instruments. A booklet in Serbian and English, with a detailed historical review on the development of musical art in Vršac and the role of this instrument in it, is included.

Thank you for supporting our Wegenstein, one of the last instruments in Serbia of its kind.
Johann Pachelbel: Aria Sexta Sebaldina
Srpski (for English, see below):
Snimljeno u enterijeru crkve Sv.

English:
There are very few audio or video recordings of music performed on the St. Gerhard Church pipe organ in Vršac, Vojvodina, Serbia. This clip is, therefore, quite a rarity. You can clearly hear the sumptuous and healthy organ sound of our Wegenstein which, although badly damaged, still enchants its audience.
Pachelbel's masterpiece Aria Sexta is performed by Miss Branka Đorđević, serbian organist. Recorded in the interior of the St. Gerhard Church in Vršac.
The disposition of the organ is given above.
A word about the instrument: built in 1913 by Wegenstein, Timisoara, instead of the previous one that was built by Alois Herbiger in 1872. Like most of the pipe organs in Vojvodina, it has a pneumatic tracture. Of all the organs which were built by Wegenstein in Vojvodina, these are (probably) the greatest.
