Ночь тиха... Silent night
Всемирно известная рождественская песня в исполнении хора Храма святого Александра Невского в Волосово
Famous Christmas carol Silent Night in Russian. Church of Saint Alexander Nevsky in Volosovo, Russia.
VLOG - DAY 1, ST PETERSBURG | CHURCH OF SAVIOR ON SPILLED BLOOD | PALACE SQUARE | CURRENCY EXCHANGE
Hi Guys,
This video is based on our first day in St Petersburg.
We stayed in Arina Rodionovna Hostel.
On the first day, We visited magnificent Church of Savior on spilled blood.
Outside of this church is outstanding and mesmerizing.
We could not go inside because it was long queue for booking ticket and we had less time.
The church was erected on the site of the assassination on Emperor Alexander II, who was the victim of a bomb in 1881 as his carriage rode down the street.
His son, Alexander III, had this church erected on the site of the slaying, hence the name.
Nice to see some actors in costumes of King Peter The Great and Queen Catherine The Great. Taking Photos with them is not free.
Highly recommend to visit this place in St Petersburg.
Then we walked around Palace Square. We saw Hermitage museum from outside because It was closed on Mondays.
There were lots of street performers and artists around Palace Square.
Palace Square is the heart of Saint Petersburg. The square is very large, impressive from all angles and clean.
It is surrounded by the Winter Palace,The Hermitage Museum and The General Staff Building that curves around the square.
We exchanged dollar with Ruble in a Bank.
They don't accept stained, stamped or torn notes.Be careful with that. The exchange rate was good.
Day 1 is not over yet.Next video is on second part of Day 1.

My name is Zahi Shaked
In 2000 I became a registered liscenced tourist guide.
My dedication in life is to pass on the ancient history of the Holy Land.
Following upon many years of travel around the world, which was highlighted by a very exciting emotional and soul-searching meeting with the Dalai Lama, I realized that I had a mission. To pass on the the history of the Holy Land, its religions, and in particular, the birth and development of Christianity.
In order to fulfill this calling in the best way possible, I studied in depth, visited, and personally experienced each and every important site of the ancient Christians. I studied for and received my first bachelors degree in the ancient history of the Holy Land, and am presently completing my studies for my second degree.(Masters)
Parralel to my studies, and in order to earn a living, I was employed for many years in advertising. What I learned there was how to attract the publics attention, generate and, increase interest, and assimilate information. All this I use as tools to describe, explain and deepen the interest in the sites that we visit. From my experience, I have learned that in this way, the Holy Land becomes more than just history, and that the large stones that we see scattered about in dissaray, join together one by one until they become - a Byzantine Church. This also happens when I lead a group of Pilgrims in the Steps of Jesus. We climb to the peak of Mount Precipice, glide over the land to the Sea of Galilee, land on the water and see the miracle which enfolds before us. This is a many faceted experience. Not only history which you will remember and cherish, but an experience which I hope will be inplanted in your hearts and minds, and will accompany you all the days of your life.

Immortal Regiment 2016 in Ufa. Real Russia ep.136 (4K)
Immortal Regiment is a social action when in memory of a veterans of WWII, their descendants are marching in a parade with their photo on a pillar. And even those all of those veterans on a photos are dead, they are like getting alive at least on those photos, carried by their children, grandchindren and just relatives.
That's why it is called an immortal regiment.
This action was started in the city of Tomsk, Russia by a journalists of a local TV company called TV2 in 2012. An idea went virally pretty fast and already next year (2013) extended to many of other cities and countries. And in 2015, just in Moscow there was over 500k of people who went in an Immortal Regiment throught Tverskaya street and the Red Square.
