NESSEBAR AND BURGAS TOUR (UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE)
At the crossroads of culture, Nessebar was a starting line for many European concepts we take for granted today. Originally a Thracian settlement, it became a Greek colony at the beginning of the 6th century BC. But the peninsular town possesses more than the remains of an assortment of iconic and historic eras. This hub on the Black Sea changed the world because the very concept of money was invented here.
Nessebar was once an important trading city and part of the Delian League: an alliance of ancient Greek states. During the centuries to follow, it remained a strategic nexus for the cultures and epochs that passed through this pivotal place. Today, you'll find the remnants of these eras in the form of buildings from the Middle Ages and Byzantine Empires. The historic city, located in modern-day Bulgaria, reflects all the stages of development of architectural styles in the Balkans.
Nessebar was also responsible for another key aspect of the region's development—namely the evolution of trade and a monetary system to match.
Nessebar is proud of its churches. The Church of St. Sofia, known as the Old Metropolitan Church, and the Church of Virgin Eleusa, situated on the northern shore, are three-aisled basilicas dating to the early Byzantine period in the 5th and 6th centuires. The Church of St. John the Baptist, from the 11th century, is distinguished by its cylindrical dome. The Church of St. Stephen is remarkable for its frescoes from the 16th century.
Nessebar is also the cultural treasury of Bulgaria. In 1956 it was declared “a museum town, an archaeological, and architectural reserve.” Because of its unique historic value, it was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 1983. Today, the Old Town is an attractive place for romantic walks along the narrow cobbled streets, between boutiques selling interesting handmade goods.
Burgas is one of the largest cities in the country. It is situated on the Black Sea shore, in the Burgas Bay, at a distance of 400 km from Sofia and 130 km from Varna. Burgas is an administrative center of the area with the same name. The city population is more than 230,000 people.
The Burgas port is the largest cargo port in the country. The airport which serves international flights is situated at a distance of 10 km north-east from the city.
Burgas is the cultural center of the region, which is evident by the active work of the Burgas Opera, Dramatic Theater “Adriana Budevska”, and the State Puppet Theater of Burgas. There are also multiple galleries in the city. Many cultural events are also conducted in the renovated Marine Casino. The Marine Park is a suitable place for a walk and relaxation. The summer theater of the city is also situated here. Diverse concerts and performances are conducted in it.
The Burgas forebridge is one of the favorite places for walk of the residents and the visitors of the city. It was constructed in 1936 and is situated near the Casino.

Celebration of the Holy Spirit - Anthony childhood
celebration of the Holy Spirit
Like all persons of the Holy Trinity, Holy Spirit, and pays a single undivided worship, that is, worshiping the Holy Spirit, Christians worship with Him to the Father and the Son, always keeping in mind their common deity, a single divine essence.
The other two Persons of the Holy Trinity of the Holy Spirit is distinguished personal (hypostatic) property, which lies in the fact that He eternally proceeds from the Father.
Procession of the Holy Spirit has neither beginning nor end, it is quite timeless, since time is a God himself.
By virtue of her Divine vezdeprisutstviya Holy Spirit can dwell in the believers in Christ, man, telling him hitherto unknown to the knowledge of God, attaching it to the All-blessed fullness of divine life. Divine action in man is often referred to as the grace of the Holy Spirit as the Holy Ghost incomprehensible dwell in human lives and dwells in it.
However, the action of divine grace common to all persons of the Holy Trinity and the presence of the Holy Spirit in a person means a soprebyvanie with Him the Father and the Son - the Divine Mind and Divine Word, that is the Holy Trinity - Mind, Word and Spirit - a single soprirodnosti and divinity (St. Gregory the Theologian)
Traditional geometric symbol of the Holy Spirit in the Christian culture is the swastika. For example, swastikas adorned the dome of the Church of the Beheading of John the Baptist c. Djakovo, set the Entry into Jerusalem Chapel of the Annunciation Cathedral of the Moscow Kremlin. In the center of the dome of the church in s.Dyakovo, where according to the Byzantine models, was written, Lord Almighty, was lined with a spiral Swastika 13th ends, diverging from a single point. The image of the Almighty are replaced by equal-dignity depicting the Divine Trinity. Then it became a symbol of the Holy Spirit geometry, the third hypostasis of the Trinity.
The swastika as a symbol of the Holy Spirit is gradually finding stood out within the iconography of Pentecost. Already at a very early surviving image of the holiday spirit is poured upon the Apostles in the form of curved lines, directed downward from the sky circle with Christ at the center (the icon with the holidays of the Sinai monastery of Catherine the Great, con. VII c.)
Ornaments with a swastika is widely used in the architecture of the Byzantine model, being built in Bulgaria and in Russia in the XIV century. Svastichny square wave is applied in the external decoration of the Holy Transfiguration Cathedral in Chernigov XIV. In Bulgaria Nessebar svastichny meander surrounds the upper altar apse of the church of Christ Pantocrator, the same century. The facade of the Church of Ivan Neosveteni in Nessebar (XIV c.) Topped with inlaid arch of the blocks in combination with brick, laid out in the form of swastikas. In the center of the composition - the Spiritual Sun (Holy Trinity), surrounded by a backdrop of swastikas expand and collapse naturally flowing into each other and representing the creative power of Deity.
In October 1913 the Russian church was consecrated on the Battle of Nations at Leipzig. During the battle, which lasted from 4 to 7 October 1813, Allied forces were virtually destroyed by Napoleon's army, in memory of fallen soldiers not far from the orthodox German victory monument, designed by architect V.A.Pokrovskogo temple was built in Russian style with high canopy covered with golden mosaics. Actually the church is located on the second floor. Below, a part of the altar, the chapel was constructed, the crypt where the ashes of the dead Russian commanders. Silver iconostasis, built zeal of the Don Cossacks, for a memorial church was strewn with svastichnymi characters.
Spiral swastika from ancient times until the present time in the set is found in the church chalice. Salaries Altar Gospels, from antiquity to the present day, are the elements svastichnoy, spiral symbols, and can be completely covered by them. Spiraling filigree, including different angles rounded swastikas, covers the salaries of the XVI century.: Mstislav Gospel (1551), the Gospels of Novgorod (1527). Medieval Irish monks copyists sometimes inserted between the text of the Gospel purely ornamental pages, covered with spirals and rounded swastika. These pages are intended for the recollection of the continuous creation and dissolution of the world.
On the back of the famous Vladimir Mother of God, which is believed to have been written at the beginning of the XV century., The veil of the throne are two swastikas. The gold ornament of swastikas tunic covered with many images of the Lord. Spiral swastikas were placed on the garments of the Saviour-Emmanuel. Swastikas of different shapes and with varying amounts of clothing decorated with the Virgin ending All-Holy Spirit dwelling favorite. At Our Lady Protectress of the XVI century.

SUMMARY
=======
Nesebar (often transcribed as Nessebar and sometimes as Nesebur, Bulgarian: Несебър, pronounced [nɛˈsɛbɐr]) is an ancient city and one of the major seaside resorts on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast, located in Burgas Province. It is the administrative centre of the homonymous Nesebar Municipality. Often referred to as the Pearl of the Black Sea, Nesebar is a rich city-museum defined by more than three millennia of ever-changing history. The small city exists in two parts separated by a narrow man-made isthmus with the ancient part of the settlement on the peninsula (previously an island), and the more modern section (i.e. hotels, later development) on the mainland side. The older part bears evidence of occupation by a variety of different civilisations over the course of its existence.
It is one of the most prominent tourist destinations and seaports on the Black Sea, in what has become a popular area with several large resorts—the largest, Sunny Beach, is situated immediately to the north of Nesebar.
Nesebar has on several occasions found itself on the frontier of a threatened empire, and as such it is a town with a rich history. Due to the city's abundance of historic buildings, UNESCO came to include Nesebar in its list of World Heritage Sites in 1983.As of December 2009, the town has a population of 11,626 inhabitants.
