Russia - St Petersburg in need of restoration
T/I 11:26:39
Russia's second city, St Petersburg, is hoping for a huge cash
handout to restore its architectural beauty from President Boris
Yeltsin during his visit on Friday (6/6).
The startling facades of St Petersburg, the capital of Russia
until the revolution in 1917, are in need of urgent care and
restoration, but many in the city feel it has been neglected
compared to Moscow.

НЕВСКАЯ ЛАВРА ALEXANDER NEVSKY LAVRA ДОКАФИЛЬМ St. Petersburg Russia
St. Petersburg, Russia (2019) - Exploring the city VLOG
#StPetersburg, Russia is a beautiful city that everyone needs to visit (not to mention filled with so much history!).
Come with me as I visit some of the best places in the city including the Winter Palace and the Palace Square, the Catherine Palace in Pushkin (PRO TIP: to avoid long lines, come around 6:30pm/7:00pm - trust me on this!), walking on the streets of St. Petersburg and seeing the Church of the Saviour on Blood. I also went to VKFest (a music festival) and saw some of my favorite singers including Egor Kreed, Tima Belorusskix, Elka, Olga Buzova & more. Another cool place to visit (6 hours from the city though) is Ruskeala - very beautiful marble canyon!

Grand Duchess Maria Alexandrovna of Russia
Grand Duchess Maria Alexandrovna of Russia was the fifth child and only surviving daughter of Tsar Alexander II of Russia and his first wife Tsarina Maria Alexandrovna. She was the younger sister of Tsar Alexander III of Russia and the paternal aunt of Russia's last Tsar, Nicholas II.
In 1874, Maria Alexandrovna married Prince Alfred, Duke of Edinburgh, the second son of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert; she was the first and only Romanov to marry into the British royal family. The couple had five children: a son, Alfred, and four daughters: Marie, Victoria Melita, Alexandra, and Beatrice. For the first years of her marriage, Maria Alexandrovna lived in England. She neither adapted to the British court nor overcame her dislike for her adopted country. She accompanied her husband on his postings as an Admiral of the Royal Navy at Malta and Devonport. The Duchess of Edinburgh travelled extensively through Europe. She visited her family in Russia frequently and stayed for long periods in England and Germany attending social and family events.
