Churdhar Trek #Vlog || Highest Peak of outer Himalayas
Churdhar is one such awesome destination where you can quench your thirst of experiencing nature at one of its best faces.
The peak is the highest peak of outer Himalayas i.e. Shivalik range. At the top of the Churdhar peak, a giant statue of Lord Shiva amazes as well as takes you back to the tales of the great Indian epics like Mahabharta and Ramayana.
Trekking to a peak at 3647 meters above sea level through a tough trek, passing through the changing scenes of the diverse nature, and observing the culture, when you place your feet on the peak point, you feel satisfied and overwhelmed with earth’s spectacular beauty.
Churdhar is a holy place related with Lord Shirgul Maharaj, a deity widely worshiped in the region.
The whole area of 56.16 km² comes under the sanctuary, which makes it one of the most peaceful places on earth.
The place can be approached by two main routes, from Nohradhar, Sirmaur of 14 km and Sarahan, Chaupal of 8 km.
During a trek, you don’t feel tired as the striking views, thick forest and many more, keeps your energy level high.
If you are lucky, then a musk deer or a Monal might make a sight. Here are some of the most tempting glimpse of the valley and the peak.
Best time to visit Churdhar is summer months but experienced can trek in winters too. Churdhar receives moderate to heavy snowfall.

HARIPUR DHAR VIEW OF CHURDHAR PEAK, DISTT. SIRMAUR HIMACHAL PRADESH (OTHER NAME DUNGBHANGAYANI)
Haripurdhar is a small town in Sirmour, Himachal Pradesh, India. The town is situated on a high ridge overlooking a deep valley. The town is at an altitude of 2500 metres above sea level.this town was early known as 'Dungbhangayani'. Earlier this was the summer capital of the of sirmour.haripurdhar is also famous for one of the historical temle bhagani mata temple.
Haripur is the name applied to a mountain called Haripur Dhar. Perched on a peak of this hill like a silent sentinel, a fort was built on this range of mountain by the rulers of erstwhile Sirmour State. It was primarlily meant to guard the state frontiers with the neighbouring Jubbal State as there were constant boundary disputes between the two states and there was unusual encroachment into each others territory. It has fallen into disuse and the part which is still habitable is used by the Forest Department as forester's headquarters. The fort reminds the visitor of thehistorical period when to hold
or capture such forts used to be the chief aim of the conending hill states. Its main attraction is the wild game in its vicinity. Lying at a distance of about 106 km from Nahan it can be approached first by a regular bus service covering 40 km up to Dadahu wherefrom up to Andheri on e can go by a jeep for about 44 km. The remaining portion of about 22 km, which is under construction for a jeepable road, can be covered on foot or on ponies. The next and easier way to approach this place is from Solan via Rajgarh. Kharotiyon, a place from where the site of the fort remains about 2 km on the high hill top.
