Chiang Kai-shek Mausoleum and Statue Park in Cihu Taiwan
Cihu houses the temporary resting place of former President Chiang Kai-shek by the side of a beautiful lake. Nearby is a park featuring statues of Chiang that have come from all over the island - showing the huge presence he had in everyday life in Taiwan at the height of his power.

Cihu Mausoleum-Cihu Museum-TIME FOR TAIWAN/TAIWANHOLIDAY/VLOG
Cihu Mausoleum (Chinese: 慈湖陵寢; pinyin: Cíhú Língqǐn), officially known as the Mausoleum of Late President Chiang (Chinese: 先總統 蔣公陵寢; pinyin: Xiān Zǒngtǒng Jiǎnggōng Língqǐn) or President Chiang Kai-shek Mausoleum is the temporary resting place of President Chiang Kai-shek. It is located in Daxi District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. When Chiang Kai-shek died in 1975, he was not buried in the traditional Chinese fashion but entombed in a black marble sarcophagus since he expressed the wish to be eventually buried in his native Fenghua in Zhejiang province once the Kuomintang (KMT) recovered mainland China from the Communists. #CihuMausoleum

Taoyuan County brings the history of the Republic of China to life. The dense forests and peaceful environs of Jiaobanshan reminded presidents Chiang Kai-shek and his son, Chiang Ching-kuo, of their hometown in Zhejiang Province. For years, Back Cihu was a restricted area that served as Chiang Kai-shek's' retreat and as his secret command center to launch a counterattack against the mainland.

Visiting Chiang Kai-shek - Cihu Taiwan
Dec 27th 2015 - It was a rainy day in taiwan but we still went on a tour to visit Chiang Kai-shek Mausoleum in Cihu about 45 min outside Taipei, well worth it. Then we ate at a local traditional Hakka restaurant. Later in the day i went to the Costco where I enjoyed a all the samples. We ended the day with dinner and games.
