The 48 Hour Film Challenge (Cineplex Odeon Oshawa)
The 48 Hour Film Challenge allows students from the video and photography programs to create short films. Next, they hand in their films to compete with the other teams. There are categories, props, winners and even popcorn as the final event is held at Cineplex Odeon in Oshawa Ontario.
What the Cineplex sale means for moviegoers
The pending sale of Cineplex to U.K.-based Cineworld could change the experience for moviegoers, and there is concern that less Canadian content will be shown on the big screens.
