A static trapeze performance at Circomedia, Bristol, choreographed by myself. I've been doing static trapeze part time for one year. This is far from perfect but I'm proud of it. I don't own the rights to any of the music and I have to give credit to The Niff for providing inspiration for the final move.

Nights at the Circus

Nights at the Circus performed by boomsatsuma Professional Acting Students in July 2019. The play is written by Tom Morris and Emma Rice and based on the novel by Angela Carter.⁣

Nights at The Circus was directed by Sam Bridges and played at Circomedia, Portland Square on the 10th, 11th and 12th of July 2019.

It’s 1899 and all of Europe waits for the arrival of the new century. The world crackles with possibilities and people dance to the irresistible rhythms of money, sex, love and freedom. Swinging above them all is a showbiz sensation: a fiercely vulgar trapeze artist and star of Colonel Kearney’s Circus, Fevvers. She is also a woman who appears to have wings. Jack Walser, an American journalist, is on a quest to discover the truth behind her identity. Dazzled by her, and desperate for the scoop of a lifetime, Walser has no choice but to join the circus on its magical tour through turn-of-the-nineteenth-century and into the brave new world!⁣

The Thieving Magpies -- Group club passing and acrobalance

with Aiden Rolinson-Rainford, James Guiver, Dan Price, and Elanor Smith.

This routine was choreographed for performance at the Leeds Juggling Convention on Saturday, December 8th. This performance took place in class the day before, for the other students.

We called our group The Thieving Magpies.
