Tour our Wildly Functional 1000 sq ft Studio in Toronto, Ontario
Three years ago Eamon and I started Chaiwala from a basement apartment. After a year of transporting goods up and down stairs and piling boxes to the ceiling, Eamon snuck out of the house to look at office spaces. While the budget-queen in me wasn't impressed I knew we needed to have our own space if we were ever going to grow so HERE WE ARE! We really hope you enjoy this tour of our office located in Toronto, Ontario.
Stick around until the end for some silly bloopers ;)

The Kingsway / Lambton Mills neighbourhood (Toronto 4k video)
My Toronto 4k running video in the Kingsway / Lambton Mills Neighbourhood in the West end of the city.
I started the Kingsway run on Bloor St West just east of Royal York road, and ran north bound up Royal York where I took twists and turns, checking out the Lambton Mills neighbourhood before I ended up running southeast on The Kingsway. Along the Kingsway neighbourhood route I passed the Old mill Inn and spa, took a quick rest on top of a bridge crossing the Humber river where I spotted some fisherman trying to catch a few salmon (or maybe it was trout).
I continued the 4k run and ended up on Riverside Dr, back onto Bloor, and went down some stairs and had a closer look at the Humber river as well as a kayak rental business in the area, before running back up the stairs and ending the run on Bloor Street West.
Yonge-Dundas Square in Toronto, Canada
Yonge-Dundas Square is a pretty fun (literally, lots of fun concerts and festivals) place in downtown Toronto. In summertime running events nearly non-stop every weekend and more, lots of restaurants and street food nearby, a hot spot shining with electrical ads in the largest Canadian city.

Toronto 4K - Skyline Expressway - Driving Downtown
Saturday afternoon drive along the Gardiner Expressway. I've gotten a number of requests for this so here you go! What do you want to see? I always take note of locations you all request. Enjoy!
Toronto is an international centre of business, finance, arts, and culture, and is recognized as one of the most multicultural and cosmopolitan cities in the world. Toronto is the most populous city in Canada, with a population of 2.7 million, with a metropolitan population of 5.9 million, making it Canada's most populous metro area.
The city is home to the Toronto Stock Exchange, the headquarters of Canada's five largest banks, and the headquarters of many large Canadian and multinational corporations. Its economy is highly diversified with strengths in technology, design, financial services, life sciences, education, arts, fashion, business services, environmental innovation, food services, and tourism.
Toronto is a prominent centre for music, theatre, motion picture production, and television production, and is home to the headquarters of Canada's major national broadcast networks and media outlets. Its varied cultural institutions, which include numerous museums and galleries, festivals and public events, entertainment districts, national historic sites, and sports activities, attract over 25 million tourists each year. Toronto is known for its many skyscrapers and high-rise buildings, in particular the tallest free-standing structure in the Western Hemisphere, the CN Tower.
The Frederick G. Gardiner Expressway, commonly known as the Gardiner Expressway, is a municipal expressway in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, running close to the shore of Lake Ontario.
The condition of the highway has deteriorated over the years. The highway has been described as an out-of-date, crumbling and frequently traffic-jammed freeway. Extensive repairs became necessary in the early 1990s, and significant commercial and residential development has occurred in the core. As a result of these, the Gardiner has been the subject of several proposals to demolish it or move it underground as part of downtown waterfront revitalization efforts. A section east of the Don River was demolished in 2001. The City of Toronto commissioned a study of possible options (keep, demolish, reconstruct) for the segment east of Jarvis Street to the Don River and City Council voted in June 2015 to rebuild the section.

Fairmont Royal York celebrated its 90th birthday
Since opening on June 11th, 1929, Fairmont Royal York has welcomed many heads of state and celebrities and has been host to many historical moments. To honour its past, the hotel commissioned author and historian Dr. Carolyn Harris to help create a self-guided history tour for guests to explore the hotel's public spaces and learn more about its storied past. Looking ahead to the future, the hotel is sponsoring Toronto of the Future – a unique exhibition running from June 25th to July 1st that highlights the real estate and infrastructure projects expected to shape the landscape of the city.
To capture the hotel's legacy and Golden Era roots, Frank Rea of Forget Me Not Flowers designed a stunning floral installation, The Celebration Cake, which will be on display in the hotel lobby for the month of June. In honour of 90 years, Fairmont Royal York also donated 90 room nights to Heritage Toronto, who will disperse them across the city for not-for-profits to raise funds to support their public heritage programming and the work of the over 100 community and volunteer organizations in Toronto.
ABOUT FAIRMONT ROYAL YORK
For nearly 90 years, Fairmont Royal York has stood proudly as a Toronto landmark, presiding over the block opposite Union Station – a love letter in stone to the heart of the city. It began its life as The Royal York, the tallest building in the British Commonwealth, soaring nearly 400 ft. and 28 storeys above the street level. A dominant feature on the skyline, the building contained 1,048 rooms, and included a concert hall, library, extensive bakery, radio station, ballrooms, restaurants, even a hospital. Little wonder it was called a city within a city – as it still is today. Today, this essential downtown landmark is in the midst of a grand/notable/magnificent transformation, reimagining its lobby experience, rooms, dining venues, event spaces, and Fairmont Gold – the property's exclusive boutique luxury experience. Another stunning chapter for Toronto's eternal, essential landmark is about to begin.

Halloween 2019 Street party- Church Street, 4k Toronto video (walking tour)
My 4k Toronto video of the 2019 Halloween party on Church Street, Toronto.
Although Halloween 2019 started off raining, the rain eventually stopped and at around 10:30 PM and I was able to get to the Halloween street party and have a fun walk around, having a look at the Halloween costumes with all the other people that were there.
This 4k Toronto video starts off at Maitland St and Church St, and i wander through the crowd walking northbound on Church Street, before turning around and walking southbound to the other end of the party.
This event happens every year where traffic is blocked off and pedestrians take over the street! If you've never been, it's a lot of fun, and the people in costume are friendly and will let you take photos with them.
