Walking in FRANKFURT (am Main) / Germany - 4K 60fps (UHD)
Frankfurt am Main in Germany is the financial center of Germany and with the European Central Bank now also in Europe. Thanks to an international vibe it is a vibrant city that many German visitors will know from the busy airport.
We start today's walk near the Opera House near the Euro sign. On our way around the city centre we visit the Römer and City Hall, push our way on the busy walking street Zeil and also check out the newly constructed old town. We end the walk at the Main river which is great for walking, biking, inline skating and enjoyed by locals and tourists alike - especially on weekends.

City Sightseeing Tour Bus. Frankfurt, Germany
FRANKFURT LAYOVER ????????| Top things to do in Frankfurt Germany | Altstadt Frankfurt am Main
This time, I had a quick layover in Frankfurt, Germany, where I had a few hours to spend touring the city! Here's what I did on my quick Frankfurt Layover.
Thankfully it was a nice day to walk around - with so many locals and tourists enjoying the beautiful day in Frankfurt!
The biggest draw is the old part of the city, so I started my Frankfurt layover journey in Römer - a medieval building in the Altstadt Frankfurt am Main. It's one of the city's most important landmarks.
You can check out a permanent exhibit of the Roman ruins. They were discovered underground after the city was destroyed in 1944 during World War II. And don't miss the Frankfurter Dom. This Frankfurt Cathedral is one of the few structures that survived the Allied Bombing of Germany in 1944.
As in many other big cities, Frankfurt has a one of those bridges where lovers can add a padlock to symbolize their eternal love. A pedestrian bridge over the River Main, called Eiserner Steg, or the Iron Bridge, is Frankfurt's love lock bridge.
My favorite place to get kebab in Frankfurt is along the River Main. You won't miss it - it is a small boat docked on the river bank called Meral Imbiss. It is fairly cheap, and you can either eat the food along the river bank, or hop onto the second level deck of the boat.
Here's our review of the Oslo Airport Lounge - OSL Lounge that I mentioned in the video:

Frankfurt - Germany's ultimate skyline
Join in on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with #germany25reunified and
Over the past 25 years, stunning skyscrapers have been rising up in Frankfurt to form Germany’s most impressive
skyline. This breathtaking silhouette includes Commerzbank Tower, the tallest building in Germany. It is also no
surprise that the city is home to Europe’s third biggest airport, with 1,400 planes arriving and departing every day
and up to 90 take-offs and landings per hour. Frankfurt also prides itself on its heritage, including the old quarter
around the Römer town hall and the house in which Goethe was born.
Many thanks to and

Frankfurt in ONE Day!
Hello Hoppers! Although I had been to Frankfurt many times (especially to the airport) I had never really taken a tour of the city. I was amazed at how much I was able to see in ONE day! My dear friend, LDEM, must take credit for this, as she guided me through the city like a real pro. Thank youuuuuu!
For me the best word to describe Frankfurt is BUSY. It is the business and financial center of Germany and the home of the European Central Bank. It has one of the world's largest stock exchanges and the third largest airport in Europe. Unlike most European cities, it has a skyline and so it is sometimes referred to as Mainhattan, getting Main (pronounced mine) from the river located in the city. Yet, it is a liveable city, offering a broad selection of shops, from high-end to discount, and a rich collection of museums and cultural events. It has excellent public transportation and plenty to do. Can't miss a visit to an apple-wine tavern or a stroll along the Main River. It also hosts some of Europe's largest trade fairs, including the Frankfurt Auto Show and the Frankfurt Book Fair. So Frankfurt is a great city to visit and to live in!

Layover in Frankfurt - GERMAN FOOD, Doner Kebab, and Sightseeing in Frankfurt, Germany!
????Lufthansa Airlines Food Review ►

T-shirts ►
Frankfurt is home to Lufthansa Airlines, one of the biggest in Europe. Not only can you fly on Lufthansa to visit Germany, but there are many connecting flights and therefore many layovers in Frankfurt.
So what should you do with a long layover in Frankfurt, Germany?
I had something like 15 hours, but even having 8 hours would be plenty of time to get to the center or Frankfurt for some sightseeing, German food and walking around.
First step is to get out of the airport and catch the train into the center of Frankfurt - that can be a little confusing as Frankfurt Airport is kind of confusing. Anyway, navigate your way to the train station at the airport. There you can buy a ticket - I bought a 5 people group ticket for 16.60 EUR. They had other pricing options as well.
Frankfurt (Main) Hauptwache - This is the center of Frankfurt and it took about 15 minutes from the airport.
Römerberg - Just a 10 minute walk from Hauptwache station is Römerberg, the historical center of Frankfurt and a wonderful public square to walk around and do some sightseeing. But we continued walking to find some German food - specifically Frankfurt food.
Gaststätte Atschel - This restaurant specializes in local Frankfurt German food. We ordered a number of dishes including apple wine and Frankfurter sausages with sauerkraut which are delicious and a food you can’t miss. Total price - 47.60 EUR
Köylü-Döner - Just down the road from Gaststätte Atschel is Köylü-Döner, one of the best places in Frankfurt for a Turkish doner kebab which is very popular in Germany and absolutely delicious. Price - 4.90 EUR
The Holy Cross Brewing Society - Finally, just a last minute decision, we had a coffer at The Holy Cross Brewing Society which was wonderful. After coffee we headed back to Frankfurt Airport to catch our flight.
If you have a layover in Frankfurt, Germany, go out and explore and eat some food!

Frankfurt, a central German city on the river Main, is a major financial hub that's home to the European Central Bank. It's the birthplace of famed writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, whose former home is now the Goethe House Museum. Like much of the city, it was damaged during World War II and later rebuilt. The reconstructed Altstadt (Old Town) is the site of Römerberg, a square that hosts an annual Christmas market.
Frankfurt is culturally and ethnically diverse, with around half of the population. Frankfurt is an alpha world city and a global hub for commerce, culture, education, tourism and traffic. Frankfurt Airport is among the world's busiest. Frankfurt is the major financial centre of the European continent, with the HQs of the European Central Bank, German Federal Bank, Frankfurt Stock Exchange, Deutsche Bank, Commerzbank, DZ Bank, KfW, several cloud and fintech startups and other institutes. Frankfurt's DE-CIX is the world's largest internet exchange point. Messe Frankfurt is one of the world's largest trade fairs. Major fairs include the Frankfurt Motor Show, the world's largest motor show, the Music Fair, and the Frankfurt Book Fair, the world's largest book fair.
Frankfurt is home to influential educational institutions, including the Goethe University, the UAS, the FUMPA, and graduate schools like the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. Its renowned cultural venues include the concert hall Alte Oper, Europe's largest English Theatre and many museums (e.g. the Museumsufer ensemble with Städel and Liebieghaus, Senckenberg Natural Museum, Goethe House), the Schirn art venue at the old town. Frankfurt's skyline is shaped by some of Europe's tallest skyscrapers. The city is also characterised by various green areas and parks, including the central Wallanlagen, the City Forest and two major botanical gardens, the Palmengarten and the University's Botanical Garden. In electronic music, Frankfurt has been a pioneering city since the 1980s, with renowned DJs including Sven Väth, Marc Trauner, Scot Project, Kai Tracid, and the clubs Dorian Gray, U60311, Omen and Cocoon. In sports, the city is known as the home of the top tier football club Eintracht Frankfurt, the basketball club Frankfurt Skyliners, the Frankfurt Marathon and the venue of Ironman Germany. It's the seat of German sport unions for Olympics, football and motor sports.
The city can be accessed from around the world via Frankfurt Airport (Flughafen Frankfurt am Main) located 12 km (7 mi) southwest of the city centre. Despite the name, Frankfurt Hahn Airport (Flughafen Frankfurt-Hahn) is situated approximately 120 km (75 mi) from the city in Lautzenhausen (Rhineland-Palatinate). Hahn Airport is a major base for low-cost carrier Ryanair. Frankfurt is a traffic hub for the German motorway (Autobahn) system. The Frankfurter Kreuz is an Autobahn interchange close to the airport, where the Bundesautobahn 3 (A3), Cologne to Würzburg, and the Bundesautobahn 5 (A5), Basel to Hannover, meet. Frankfurt Central Station (Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof, often abbreviated as Frankfurt (Main) Hbf or F-Hbf) is the largest railway station in Germany by railway traffic.

Walking in FRANKFURT / Germany ????????- Old Town, Banking District, Bahnhofsviertel - 4K 60fps (UHD)
This walk in Frankfurt am Main / Germany we start at the Römer which is the town hall since the 15th century. We walk to the nearby Eiserner Steg - a pedestrian bridge crossing over to the Sachsenhausen district.
From the other side of the Main river we can see the skyline of Frankfurt. We return over the bridge to the old town and make our way to the Bahhofsviertel - the train station. On the way we see the Paul's Church, the walking street Zeil and the old opera house. People enjoy their afternoon at a little food and wine event - the Fressgass-Fest.
We make a detour and visit the office block Taunusanlage. There is in the banking district many people work in Frankfurt. In the evening now it's fairly quiet though. Soon we reach the Bahnhofsviertel and the train station where we end this walk.
