Night Out With Friends (The Barkada) at City Time Square, Mandaue City, Philippines
I had a night out with friends (the barkada) at City Time Square in Mandaue City, here in Cebu, the Philippines. It was a sort of a rare get-together among high school batch mates and former boy scout leaders considering that we seldom see each other due to the busy schedule of work and family, aside from those who now reside abroad.
First stop was the Conching's Native Chicken Restaurant for dinner where we ordered bulalo or pochero, a favorite beef bone marrow soup, among Cebuanos because of its flavorful fatty broth and soft meat still clinging to but can easily be removed from the bone. Tapping out the intact bone marrow from its cavity and combining it with the soup and rice bring all the gustatory delight. Another favorite Cebuano dish that we ordered was the lechon manok bisaya or the native chicken inasal. After eating at Conching's Native Chicken Restaurant, we had a short stroll at the square's mini-park where one can find the newest attraction which is the 2,000 white roses garden, though the LED lights of the roses were not lit that night.
Then, it was time to chill out at not just one but three resto bars on the second floor of City Time Square. First stop was at 11th Street Resto Bar, then at Chic Rendezvous Live Music Bar and Restaurant, and the last stop was at Guru Kitchen and Bar where we met one of our batch mates who happened to be the disk jockey (DJ) of that bar.
After the bar hopping, and as it was already late, we called it a night and we bid goodbye to everyone until next time.

City Time Square- located at Mantawi Ave, North Reclamation Area, Subangdaku Mandaue City. (opposite to Parkmall).
This is another vibrant destination for everyone. A perfect place to dine with your friends, have a karaoke and drink with friends. There are some bars with live bands, foreign restaurants (Korean, Taiwanese, Chinese, Japanese buffet restaurant and more).
And if you like a Disco club, there is also one here. At the back of the complex, you can find an international buffet restaurant (Buffet 101).
A lot of foreigners visit City Time Square because of its accessible location. There is a a taxi queue near the entrance so transportation is no worry.
NEW BARS & RESTOS IN TOWN AT TIMES SQUARE, CEBU, PHILIPPINES
There are several new bars and restaurants in Cebu at Times Square in Mandaue City, Cebu, Philippines. It is just across the street from Parkmall. Fifties bar, KTV, comedy club, spa, and many restaurants. My only complaint, as usual, is that the music is way too loud....ear spitting loud in most bars.
Mango Square doesn't have many bars anymore so this may be a good place to hang out for some.
