Female 1: Welcome to the City Wonders Tour. This is the Villa Wine Tasting with Dinner. This tour is set on a 15th century villa that is set in the hills of Florence with the most gorgeous views possible. We eat fresh food that is cooked with ingredients that are grown here locally, and we taste award winning wines.
Female 2: I've never learned how to really experience wine in the right way, so the guide showed us how to spin the wine around and breathe in the flavor of the wine. She was very informative. It was fun.
Female 1: They say that wine tasting is actually wine smelling because we have five million receptors in the back of our nose. Here's the bruschetta and this is made, actually, with the tomatoes that are grown here in the gardens of Villa Le Piazzole.
Female 2: Another aspect that I really enjoyed was meeting the people who run this place and they've been here for many years. They're very knowledgeable. We learned a lot. Also, I got to crush the grapes as well, which was lots of fun. A little bit messy, but it was really enjoyable. I loved it.
Female 3: I have been on another wine tour in Italy but this was definitely better. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The guide was wonderful. I would definitely give this tour five out of five without a doubt.

Simone Gozzi: The idea was creating a tool that was breaking all of
these barriers, creating something different, experience that
people would remember, and it was a great success.
Kimberly Elia: So much love and energy goes into the creation of a
perfect dark room tour. It starts with asking everybody, I mean
from the customer service staff all the way up to the top execs
in the company, What do you think? What kind of experiences
should we be offering our customers?
Michael Smith: Our clients are maybe picky or pickier. We spend a lot of
time looking at the minute details and analyzing each piece of
the tour.
Ana Maric: All of our decisions about modification, improvement in our
strive for excellence comes from the feedback of our clients.
Michael Smith: Once we find the winning match, the winning combination of
elements, we don't just leave it there.
Simone Gozzi: Even our five star tourists, they always go to an
evaluation from time to time to make them better.
Ana Maric: Our guides are always leaving their own feedback and trying to
work on details that can be improved.
Kimberly Elia: Our guides are able to go with their colleagues to learn
fresh ways to get the information and rediscover their
excitement over what they're telling our clients.
Simone Gozzi: I like to create tours that, when I have a friend of mine
coming into town, I can recommend it. I know that those are the
three, four top tours that are not to be missed.
Michael Smith: We're constantly listening for feedback, interacting with
our clients to make sure that we offer them the experience that
we would want for ourselves.

Florence - City Video Guide
The Renaissance city of Florence sits at the foot of the Apennine Mountains in Northwest Italy.
The Centro Storica is Florence's compact historical center. Here are many of the city's elaborate buildings, including the Basilica di San Lorenzo, and the 750-year-old Santa Maria del Fiore cathedral, located on the Piazza del Duomo. Giotti's Bell Tower is another recognized Florence landmark.
Religious art can be admired in Florence's museums and galleries. Among the most renowned are the Uffizi Gallery and the Palazzo Vecchio. Michelangelo's original statue of David is kept in the Gallery of The Academy. A replica stands on the picturesque Piazza della Signora.
Children love riding the Carousel on the Piazza della Repubblica. Placing a coin on the snout of Il Porcellino is another Florence tradition kids like to do.
Florence is punctuated with many historical palaces and bridges. Two of particular note are the Palazzo Pitti (one-time residence of the influential Medici family) and the 400-year-old Ponte Vecchio.

Tuscan cuisine, incredible boutique shopping, and mesmerizing views at every turn, the city of Florence is nothing short of spectacular. Known worldwide as the birthplace of the Renaissance, Florence embodies the spirit of ancient Italy and has managed to preserve it for nearly 700 years. With over 350,000 who call the city home, and nearly 1.5 million who reside in its surrounding metropolitan area, Florence skillfully fuses the past with the present, creating a unique time capsule of ancient aesthetics housed within a hustling, bustling world of modern day Italy.
Containing a wealth of preserved artistic and architectural masterpieces, the city is home to almost one-third of the world’s artistic treasures, according to UNESCO, an organization which designates world heritage sites to preserve the world’s most important cultural locations and artifacts. With a near countless number of art galleries and over 45 museums – including the Uffizi gallery, the world’s best collection of Italian Renaissance art, and the Galleria dell'Accademia, home to the legendary statue of David – it is no wonder why the city captures the hearts and imaginations of all who visit. From the ancient churches and stunning buildings that line the city streets to the priceless artistic masterpieces created by Michelangelo, Botticelli, and Giotto housed within Florence’s galleries, the city is bursting with art and culture.
Florence’s influence can be felt in more than just the world of art. The capital of the region of Tuscany, Florence is the birthplace of the Italian language. It was famed Italian author Dante Alighieri and other writers such as Boccaccio and Petrarca who were the first to begin writing in a language other than Latin. Florence was also the first city in all of Europe to have paved streets. With its rich history and incomparable influence on modern Italian life, Florence certainly changed the way that most view Italy.
