Letupan Gas at CityOne Megamall Kuching Sarawak Malaysia
AN EXPLOSION at CityOne Megamall at Jalan Song in Kuching sparked a major evacuation after witnesses heard loud bangs.
An eye-witness told Borneo Post Online that the explosion had injured several people.
Ambulances from various agencies were deployed to scene to provide the affected victims medical aid.
The premises have been placed under temporary shutdown.

Tiga mangsa dilaporkan terkorban dalam insiden letupan gas di sebuah pusat beli belah di Kuching petang tadi.
Letupan yang berlaku di CityOne Megamall di Jalang Song Kuching kira-kira jam 3.30 petang Selasa itu turut mencederakan 26 yang lain.

Three killed, 26 hurt in gas leak at Kuching mall
A person and two local workers at a food outlet in the CityOne Megamall in Kuching, Sarawak were killed while 26 others injured following an explosion on Tuesday afternoon.
The food outlet was under renovation when a gas pipe leak caused the explosion. The three deceased were from Sarawak and Penang.

Tular di media sosial apabila satu letupan telah berlaku di City One Megamall, Kuching pada 3.30 petang tadi.
Menurut sumber, seramai 3 orang mangsa terkorban dan 19 lagi mengalami kecederaan.
Saksi kejadian, George Sting, 39, berkata letupan itu berlaku di dalam sebuah kedai yang sedang diubah suai.
“Ketika kejadian saya sedang membeli pizza di hadapan kedai itu, tiba-tiba satu letupan kuat berlaku.
“Pekerja yang berada di dalam kedai tersebut lari bertempiaran keluar premis berkenaaan, ada di antara mereka yang cedera teruk seperti melecur,” katanya kepada Bernama ketika ditemui di lokasi kejadian.
Grace Lee, 23, pembantu jurujual di sebuah telco di tempat kejadian berkata semasa kejadian dia sedang melayan pelanggan, tiba-tiba terdengar letupan dari sebuah kedai yang sedang disiapkan.
“Pihak pengurusan shopping mall terus membuat pengumuman kecemasan agar semua pengunjung keluar dari pusat beli belah itu,” katanya.
Wina Simion, 46, berkata dia ketika itu sedang menikmati pizza di sebuah restoran bersama keluarga di hadapan kedai berkenaan, tiba-tiba berlaku letupan daripada kedai di hadapan menyebabkan meja terbang ke siling premis berkenaan.
Pengarah Operasi Bomba dan dan Penyelamat, Tiong Ling Hii ketika dihubungi mengesahkan kejadian tersebut namun jumlah mangsa yang cedera parah belum dapat dipastikan. — BERNAMA

No terror or criminal element in Kuching's Cityone Megamall explosion, say cops
The explosion at Cityone Megamall in Kuching, Sarawak on Tuesday is not linked to terrorism, says Sarawak Deputy Commissioner of Police DCP Datuk Mohd Dzuraidi Ibrahim. He said police investigations so far have found no militant nor criminal elements in the incident.
DCP Dzuraidi said police had classified the case of the three men who died in the incident as a sudden death and added that the cause of the explosion was still being investigated by the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba).
