3 brothers, 2 times started the new era of modern cinematography. Boris, Mikhail and specially Denis (who changed his name for Dziga Vertov), created foundation of the cinema with their experimental films and ingenious visions / intuition. Dziga Vertov brilliant theorist and pioneer of cinema created in Russia his groundbreaking work: Man with a Movie Camera. Boris however, after great contribution to French Art-House Cinema (L'Atalante 1934, Zéro de conduite 1933), migrated to America where he created unforgettable images in films like 12 angry men (1957), Fugitive kind (1960), Long day's journey into night (1962) and many others...
