Bike touring in a day, 1 million fun. When you come to Cebu, don't skip touring this small Island just 10-15mins boat ride from Lapu-lapu City. The water is so clear that you can literally see the bottom. It has a rich marine life, very good for snorkelling. It is worth seeing specially during the bird migration season, I was unlucky this time but will definitely go back.

Cebu Province in the Philippines is surrounded with many other small islands which are all blessed with fish-filled waters and white sand beaches. In this trip, we chose to visit 3 of the nearest islands from the city. We took the 'banca' in Cordova, Mactan Island and visited Nalusuan, Gilutongan and Caohagan Islands. We did snorkeling the whole day, soaked our bodies in the clear blue waters and took our lunch in the middle of the sea.

one of the best tour in our vacation was the individual full day boat trip to some small islands with snorkel areas in clear turquoise water, break on the island Caohagan with a selection of living sea food, BBQ by boat. The snorkel areas are saved and you must pay a small fee but the stuff observed the place as security for the corals and the snorklers healt. Pleace select the best price, the tour you can book where ever you want on the island (taxi points, booking office, hotels or simply on the street !
Ein sehr schöner Tagestrip in unserem Philippinen Urlaub war das Inselhopping zu den umliegenden kleinen Inseln. Wir besuchten zwei tolle Schnorchelgebiete, die wegen des Nationalparkcharakters etwas Geld kosteten, dafür war aber die Sicherheit der Touristen und der Corallen garantiert, BBQ gab es an Bord und wir besuchten die bewohnte Insel Caohagan, wo es eine reichliche Auswahl von lebenden Seafood gab. Falls Ihr ebenfalls solch einen Ausflug plant, bitte unbedingt Preise vergleichen, das lohnt sich !

Firstly thank to Time2Travel for arranging my short getaway to Cebu, Philippine to cut off my bucket list to see the majestic whale shark where you can see whole year around except for bad weather and typoon.
Reaching Mactan–Cebu International Airport located in Lapu-Lapu City on Mactan Island, a part of Metro Cebu, was welcome by the stary stary night of Cebu before landing around 11pm.
Check into newly-opened Seda Hotel (4 stars) near to Seda Ayala Shopping Mall and went for supper at JolliBee (Philipine Fast Food Chain) for burger and fried chicken ... no sleep till 4am for pick-up for 3 hours car drive to Oslob and can see the beautiful sun rise along the away.
The excitement really keep me sharp mind even-though my body was tired of lack of rest but once seeing the magnificent creatures, Whale Sharks (the largest fish in the world) welcome us on the boat... I just jumped into the water ... Splashed ( equal food ) ... I guessed a big one came toward me with a giant mouth (size 1.2-1.5 meters wide) ** in my video **
Later again it came find me again ... maybe I leng chai gua ... hahaha!! But honestly it really special and rare opportunity to experience the grandeur of the amazing yet gentle creature, Whale Sharks. Seeing them opened their mouth to swallow the plankton like eating 100 burgers at one go ... (me only can do one ... hahaha)
The whale shark watching experience feels surreal and beautiful. They’re so large but so graceful as they swim alongside you. Getting up close and personal with these friendly giants really makes you feel close to nature and reconnect with the world around you. There are a mixture of whale sharks, mostly averaging around three to five metres in length, but so far the largest we have sighted during our trips at Oslob was 9 metres long.
After that, went for motobike ride down to Tumalog Falls: A Magical Gossamer Curtain in Oslob... One of the best things about our home province of Cebu is that our humble island is jam-packed with so many unique natural wonders.
Some enthusiasts and observers describe Tumalog Falls as ‘gossamer’ since it creates a silky, very light and gauze-like fabric descending down transforming into a basin of water. Others describe it as ‘horsehair’ (especially white horse’s) due to how the water flows creating like horse’s tail or neck hair. Even some visitors would describe the waterfalls as a ‘white curtain’ covering the whole wall of rock within the forest. It seems like a white curtain and a transparent one. Seeing and feeling it is so refreshing and relaxing for the mind, body and soul ... what's an amazing experience.
From nature to adventure will be canyoneering in Kawasan Falls Cebu is one of most extreme adventure like scrambling, climbing, jumping, rappelling and swimming through a river either upstream or downstream. It’s one of the most fun and unique outdoor activities you can do in Cebu.
Cebu is an architectural feast of Spanish period churches in the styles of late Baroque, neoclassical, Greco-Roman, and Gothic or a combination of their elements. The Augustinians came with Spanish conqueror Miguel Lopez de Legazpi to the Philippines through Cebu in 1565 and zealously went about converting people to Christianity. Although the Spaniards started building churches in Cebu in the mid to late 16th century, these were made of native materials like wood and nipa and did not survive the ravages of time and elements. Visiting churches like seeing yourself back to history in the 1500 - 1600 period.
Cebu, the country’s oldest city, has so much more to offer than the famed Sinulog Festival, with century-old churches, long white sandy beaches, world class diving, unspoiled countryside, and a rich culinary history – Cebu City has something for everyone!

The Matias in Mandaue City is one favorite street food of Pinoys for its barbecue–pork or chicken meat or giblets skewered on sticks and cooked over a charcoal grill.
Cebu Island Hopping is another an experience to visit different white sand and crystal clear water which I need to save another day due to my short visit so I added some video footage for your viewing pleasure.

Top 10 Beaches in Cebu Philippines
This is my list of my top 10 beaches in Cebu. If you are looking for some of the Philippine’s best beaches, Cebu has some amazingly gorgeous white sandy beaches. If you are planning to holiday in the Philippines and looking for some great tropical island getaways, I hope this list will give you some ideas.
So in no particular order the list of the 10 best beaches in Cebu.
Bounty Beach in Malapascua Island. A fantastic place to spend your vacation in the Philippines. As a bonus, if you are spending your vacation in Malapascua don’t forget to visit on of the Philippines best sand banks – Kalanggaman Island.
Paradise Beach is located in Bantayan Island. A must do trip when you visit this amazing island.
Santiago Bay in the Camotes Islands is the most popular touristy area on the islands. The beach is just beautiful.
Bakhaw Beach also in the Camotes, is just as beautiful but with less crowds.
Sumilon Island in Cebu’s south is an awesome tropical island with a beautiful sand bank. And if you want to stay in paradise even longer stay over at the lovely Sumilon Bluewater Resort.
Badian Island, another wonderful island in Cebu’s south. A bit upmarket with a wonderful sandy beach.
White Beach, Moalboal. This is Moalboal’s best beach area. With a lovely beach as well as some great snorkelling just offshore.
Tingko Beach in Alcoy. Not the most well know beach in Cebu, but is still on of Cebu’s best beaches.
Santa Fe beaches in Bantayan Island. This is my favourite island in Cebu and if see the video you will see why this is fantastic tourist destination in the Philippines.
While staying on Bantayan, one of the best day trips to do from Santa Fe is Virgin Island. A true piece of paradise with beaches that belong in postcards.
