Cleethorpes Tourism
Figures have revealed that visitor numbers to the Cleethorpes have been on the rise for a number of years. The North-East Lincolnshire town has seen a significant growth in numbers which have gone up by 7.1%, from 3.18 million in 2016 to 3.4 million in 2017.
But with the country still in negotiations to leave the European Union, could Brexit affect the numbers. We spoke to the council to find out more.
Cleethorpes Promenade, A Drones View
This clip is a slow run along the main promenade of Cleethorpes seafront from 2 different heights (10m and 118m). Starting at Cleethorpes Pier and running as far as the RNLI slipway. The final part of the clip shows a 360° pan just right of the pier. The clip also shows the Haille Sand and Bull Sand Forts in the background.
Cleethorpes to Tetney Lock walk, Lincolnshire, UK
A walk from Cleethorpes to Tetney that starts at the right turn on the main road into Thorpe Park caravan site.
Then follow a bridleway which turns into a footpath after a new windfarm. Turn left in Tetney to follow the waterway past the lock. When some trees and a world war 2 pillbox is reached turn left to follow the coast back to Thorpe Park caravan site.
