GAP PEAK - Mountain Scramble video (HD) near Canmore. Explore Alberta Canada
Here is our trip report of #GapPeak in Canmore October 6th. Great day minus some wind. No snow whatsoever made the climb easy. Very fun ridge walk and a really cool Rock Window. When hiking up the scree slope we noticed that every kickstep we made stirred up the rock and smelled like rotten eggs. Must be some sulfur in the rock content up there. Get outside and be healthy! #thenorthface @thenorthface

Hiking Grotto Canyon | Canmore | Alberta | Canada
A hike through Grotto Canyon, near Canmore, Alberta, Canada. The hike follows a creek bed through high wall gorge, includes a waterfall, cave and native pictographs. A great short hike for a 1/2 days exploring.
Canmore, Alberta MUST-SEES | Ha-Ling Peak | Grassi Lakes
My video from a recent trip to Canmore where my friend Tofunmi & I hit up 2 of the most common hikes to do in Canmore. Watch the video to see our adventures (and foodie picks) along the way, as well as some clips of the views you can expect!
Hike #1: Grassi Lakes
This is an easy- moderate hike that took us about 30-45min one way, and that included stopping to take photos and videos. This trail is well paved out and very easy to take kids or dogs on. This is also a common place for rock climbing if you're into that!!
Check out more on the Tourism Canmore website:
Hike #2: Ha-Ling Peak
This hike was more moderate to difficult, and took us about 2.5 hours to get up and about 1.5 hours on the way down. This hike was done in May and there was still a significant amount of snow/ slush/ mud but the conditions should be significantly better now (July/ August).
Check out more on the Tourism Canmore website:
Also check out some of the other places we stopped at:
The Donut Mill: in Gasoline Alley (about 20 min away from Red Deer)
Peter's Drive in: found in Red Deer & Calgary
The Wood Restaurant & Lounge: downtown Canmore
Re:Grub: found in Calgary & Edmonton (I ordered the Dude Ranch burger & Cookie Monster milkshake)

Summer Hiking at Grotto Canyon near Canmore (4K) | Journey Alberta
I journey into the Rocky Mountains near Exshaw and Canmore with my friend Jesse to see what Grotto Canyon looks like in the summer. We see many places to rock climb, he wall drawings by Aboriginal people, and a waterfall tucked away behind some rocks. After the waterfall area we venture further in the canyon to see a mostly washed away cave. It was mostly washed away during the 2013 Alberta Floods, and now only goes back half a meter and is dangerous to climb up to.
Shot on a Panasonic G7 at 4K/24fps, and a GoPro Hero 4
Stabilized using a Glidecam XR1000, with camera mounted to a Manfrotto quick release plate
Audio Recorded Using a Rode Video Mic with Rycote Lyre Suspension System
Tripod used is a Manfrotto with a fluid head
Edited on Adobe Premiere Pro CC
Thanks for watching!

CANMORE ALBERTA- Rats Nest Cave tour
this is a 2-1/2 hour tour where you walk up the mountain to find the Rats Nest Cave which is a limestone Cave in a mountain near Canmore. the cave requires you to wear cave gear and has no lights in it and you need to wear a helmet with a light on it. the cave has many parts where you need to hook on to ropes in order to get by and there are many spots where you need to crawl through since it is very tight. so not the place if you have claustrophobia. check out the link to the tour here
Canmore Adventures: Hiking Grotto Canyon
Grotto Canyon is a relatively simple trail walk with interesting features that make it a very worthwhile excursion. Walking between the narrow walls of the canyon provides an eerie experience and at the end of the canyon there is a small waterfall and cave to explore. You can also find ancient pictographs painted on the canyon walls if you know where to look!

Alberta Hiking with Mountain Mike - Lodor Peak
I met Michael Dietrich on Instagram a few years ago and immediately knew I wanted to collaborate with him! From his epic hiking, to his adorable dog Bear Bear, to his genuine heart and gift of bringing people together, he was the perfect influencer to work with!
I headed to Kananaskis County in Alberta Canada for some EPIC hiking for his meetup Hike with Mike 4.0. He brings people from all over the world to take on some fun (and scary) trails. We all met up at the basecamp for the Canadian Rockies, the Stoney Nakoda Resort.
From day 1 exploring Reads Tower and Tunnel Mountain over Banff, to the epic Lodor Peak for the meetup, check it out and see how much Canada pushed me out of my comfort zone!

Hiking In Alberta - Ha Ling Peak in the Canadian Rockies - Canmore, Alberta
In this video, we show a fairly simple, although strenuous, hike up to Ha Ling Peak in the Canadian Rockies around Canmore, Alberta. It’s rated as difficult, but if you’re in decent shape, you should be fine. The views from the top are simply stunning. This hike is free and is not within the national park system so no park pass is needed.
Hiking in Alberta is one of the best things to do in Alberta. That's because it's home to the Canadian Rockies, which includes both Banff National Park and Jasper National Park. However, this hike is around Canmore, Alberta, which is just outside the national park (about 15 minutes from Banff). It's called Kananaskis country and it's somewhat of a local secret. Not this hike but the Kananaskis in general.
