Deadliest Hiking Trail in the World | Huashan Mountain
I went hiking the deadliest hiking trail in the world in Huashan mountain near Xi'an, China. It was one of the best experiences I ever had.
Morning time around 6am I woke up and a driver picked me up to take me to the base of Huashan mountain. once I got to the base of Mount Hua I got my tickets to get in the mountain and got the cable car which takes around 10 minutes to go up.
If you take huashan cable car you skip a couple thousand steps but still once you reach up with the cable car you still have to walk around 3500 steps.
Hiking huashan mountain can be one of the deadliest hiking trail in the world because of its safety, once you are going up there is no much protection for you and false step can get you injured very easily in these deadliest hiking trails.
The most famous part of huashan mountain in china is the cliffside plank walk. This huashan cliffside plank walk is very scary and famous for how high it is. This cliffside plank walk attracts many tourists and the queue to go to it may take up to 3 or 4 hours.
I took a whole day to hike huashan mountain, I made a lot of pictures and videos and I even used my drone there. Hiking mount huashan is a bit scary but at the same time you will love it by the pictures you will be able to get.
And this cliffside plank walk is one of the deadliest hiking trails in the world because some people take off their harness so they can have better pictures and once you take it off, one false step and you are gone.

Huangshan Mountains - Trekking in China - GoPro
The Dangerous Peaks and Incredible Views of Huangshan, Climbing Yellow Mountains China Vlog
Climbing the Yellow mountains in Huangshan, China is pretty tough. This was a particularly arduous climb as we didn't use the cable car at all.
With a whole load of sheer drops and narrow paths these majestic, incredible mountains can actually be very dangerous, but are well worth the climb.
Day one was just over 10 km of steps and day two was around 14 km. The hardest part however was sleeping in a bedbug riddled dorm room with 5 Chinese guys who had no manners and kept me up all night with a horrendous combination of noises (including spitting on the floor of the room several times!).

Chilled day exploring Tunxi in Huangshan, China
Just a chilled day exploring the local town of Tunxi in Huangshan (China). This is the nearest main town to the Yellow Mountains and where we stayed for climbing them. We had a nice walk along the Hengjiang river and explored the Tunxi Ancient Street, which dates back to the Song Dynasty (960-1279). Of course we had to have a few drinks! Then headed back to our hostel after sunset.
YELLOW MOUNTAINS (Huangshan), CHINA: How to get there, Getting around, Cost
The Huangshan Mountains AKA Yellow Mountains are some of the most famous mountains in China. We loved exploring them on our short visit after hearing so much about their beauty. In hindsight, we would have done our trip a bit differently. If you have one weekend to see them, these are some options that I would consider:
1) Arrive Friday, get to Tangkou and sleep. The next morning, get up early, grab the cable car up to the top of the mountains, and hike all day through the famous peaks. Spend the night at one of the many inns on the mountain and get up early the next morning to find a spot for a spectacular sunrise. Then either hike or cable car down.
2) Arrive Friday, get to Tangkou and sleep. The next morning, get up early, grab the cable car up to the top of the mountains, and hike all day through the famous peaks. Take the cable car down and sleep in Tangkou. Get up early the next day, take a car or bus to Hongcun Village, about 1 hour away. Check out the village for a couple of hours, then take a quick 15-20 minute cab to the famous Bamboo Forest near by and spend some time walking around in there. Then head back to Huangshan for train or flight out.
Where we stayed in Tangkou (and we absolutely loved it!):

How to climb Hua Shan in China 華山怎麼去
In this video I show you how to get to Hua Shan, one of the steepest mountains in the world, in China, and then how to climb it. I spent one day there and only went to two peaks (there are five peaks in total). I went up the North Peak and came down the West Peak.
World's Most Dangerous Hiking Trail on Mount Huashan
Mount Huashan is the most dangerous, terrifying hikes In the world. The paths have been reinforced due to a recent influx of tourists, but they are nonetheless dangerous, and carry a reputation for fatal falls. Although no official statistics are kept, some say that the number may be as much as about 100 fatal falls a year. Some of the more dangerous parts of the trails have names like Thousand-Foot Precipice, Hundred-Foot Crevice and Black Dragon Ridge.
The trails up Mount Hua Shan involve steep staircases, vertical ascents, and a plank trail consisting of wooden platforms bolted onto the mountainside.

This is the first video from a recent trip to China. Photographing the landscape, Huangshan, China. What can I say? Chinese artists have been inspired by these mountains for centuries and their art proves that this area has a special place in the hearts of the Chinese people. As I mention in this video over and over Huangshan is a spectacular location that almost doesn't seem real.

How to get to Huangshan
Hong villageHong Village
The transportation of Huangshan is quiet convenient. Huangshan City is about 410 km (255 mi) southwest from Shanghai . It is a tourist destination often combined with Shanghai and Hangzhou (about 250 km or 155 miles east). Flights are available to Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Chongqing, and Xi’an, etc.
The Yellow Mountains is the highlight of Huangshan Prefecture. So buses directly linking Shanghai/Hangzhou and the Yellow Mountains depart every day.
Cable cars are available on the Yellow Mountains. But you still need to do some mountain climbing to get to the tops. Stone steps and amenities are provided on all major paths.
