Tour Of Britain 2007 (Liverpool to Kendal, stage 5)
Last 500 meter climb of the day, we were standing around the 200 meter mark from the finish line in Kendal.
Tour of Awesone Walls Liverpool - United Kingdom - Climbfind com
Walking around the large centre built inside an old church. The main room showcases a tower feature strucutre calls 'The pinnical', gripless bouldering, lot's of easy top ropes, a very nice negative curve main lead wall and secondary side lead walls. Upstairs there is a grip training area and downstairs is the 37m long traverse room and the crypt bouldering rooms with tons of roof problems. Scout Scar Kendal Climbing www.verticaladventures.co.uk
Scout Scar is a small Limestone Crag near Kendal. Some quality 6a-6b+ routes before it then moves into much harder climbing. Rock is generally good, bolting OK. We did all the classic 6a to 6b+ (a fist full of steroids being the nicest!), then took on the 6c+ routes, which are really tough for the grade!
Tour of Britain stage 4 going through Kendal
Tour Of Britain Stage 2 2019 Highlights - Scottish Borders | GCN Racing
Stage 2 started and finished in Kelso, the first time that an entire stage has been ridden in the Scottish Borders. The last time a stage finished in Kelso, Caleb Ewan won in a super close sprint finish. This year’s stage though features a 2nd cat climb in the last 30km that could shake out the sprinters.

Tour Of Britain Stage 5 2019 Highlights - The Wirral | GCN Racing
The 174km stage 5 took the riders around the Wirral and Cheshire, with only 821m of climbing this stage was set up for a sprint royale. The only chance for the non-sprinters was to use the exposed roads by the Irish Sea, it doesn’t take much wind to cause a split out there!

The greatest climbing adventure in the UK!
Climbing the Old Man of Hoy the greatest climbing adventure in the Scotland and the UK...
Alex's surprise 30th birthday present for her husband Craig was to fulfill one of his biggest climbing ambitions which was to climb The Old Man Of Hoy!
The Old Man or Am Bodach is regarded as one the greatest climbing adventures in the UK. Just getting to the towering sandstone sea stack in the Orkney Islands is a long trip and an adventure in itself.
Alex arranged a guided ascent of the spectacular sea stack with Ron Walker (MIC, IML) of Talisman Mountaineering.
The 'Original' (or East Face) Route 460 feet E1 5b was first climbed by Tom Patey, Rusty Baillie and Chris Bonnington in 1966. The climb was fimed during the BBC's first ever live remote outdoor broadcast. I'd eagerly watched this on black and white TV as a 11 year old in 1966 never imagining that I'd ever be climbing such an amazing route...
The pre-digital age video camera footage was saved on an old video tape which has now been finally transferred, converted and edited for upload onto the internet - Enjoy!!
