PASSEIO DE ALTA MONTANHA EM MENDOZA | Viajando Argentina
Próximo vídeo estarei mostrando a Bodega Lopez.
Até lá!

Hiking at the Aconcagua - Americas highest mountain
After our daytrip to the Iguazu Falls we travelled to the wine region Mendoza. But before we started a wine tour we wanted to visit the highest mountain in Americas - The Aconcagua.
It is 6962m high and the highest in America. We just spend one hour hiking in the national Park but it was a truly amazing experience. We needed 3 hours with the bus from Mendoza and paid a 200 pesos fee to get access to the park.
I hope you enjoy this vlog!

Spotting SEA LIONS in Peninsula Valdes on a Boat Tour | Chubut, Argentina
For our last day on the Valdes Peninsula, we joined an excursion to visit Caleta Valdes and Punta Delgada, two destinations which are said to be great for wildlife spotting! First up, we kicked off the day with a boat tour to the loberia, which is a rocky outcrop where you can see sea lions.
Because we visited in February, there were lots of newborn pups playing and clumsily climbing around the larger sea lions; it was so fun to just sit back and watch them be. We also saw the alpha male strutting on his flippers, body arched upwards, observing his harem and eventually approaching a female. It was quite the scene and camera shutters were going off like crazy!
From there, we continued to Caleta Valdes, which is often referred to as a 'geographic accident'; it’s basically a long and narrow body of water that’s been naturally closed off by a strip of land, with only a small opening connecting it to the sea. We got to see Magellanic penguins here, who had built their nests on a rather steep hill!
We then continued to Punta Delgada Lightouse, a former post office and military building turned sheep farm, countryside hotel and restaurant. We had some empanadas and lamb stew for lunch (all very tasty!), before continuing on to a beach location where we watched as elephant seals made their way back to sea.
This was our final tour with Argentina Vision ( and then it was back to Puerto Madryn!

Spotting SEA LIONS in Peninsula Valdes on a Boat Tour | Chubut, Argentina:
Hey guys! We are Samuel and Audrey, a travel vlogging couple from Canada. In this travel channel we share our travel and food vlogs while touring the world.
We had the privilege of traveling around Argentina for nearly 3 months from January- April 2019 on a trip covering a large section of the country.
We kicked things off with several days in Buenos Aires where we were joined by Audrey's parents eating and sightseeing around some of our favourite neighbourhoods in the city. We then flew from Buenos Aires to Cordoba where we spent a couple of weeks in the Sierras of Cordoba.
From Cordoba, we then travelled a considerable distance on an overnight bus to Mar Del Plata just in time for a special food festival called Feria Masticar featuring the best of Argentine food and wine. We spent several days enjoying beaches and seafood before heading south to Patagonia to visit the province of Chubut.
While on the Atlantic side of Chubut we visited Puerto Madryn, Peninsula Valdes, Trelew, Gaiman and Dolavon. To summarize our time in this area, we had incredibly close encounters with wildlife including penguins, sea lions and guanacos while also experiencing Welsh culture in Argentina.
Our time in Patagonia continued as we headed from east to west trading more barren landscapes for thick forests, impressive mountains and magnificent lakes. We spent significant time in both Esquel and El Bolson with day trips to visit Trevelin, Parque Nacional Los Alerces, Cholila and Lago Puelo. Highlights included sailing, hiking, riding vintage trains and partaking in the national asado festival.
We finished visiting Patagonia with time spent in Villa La Angostura, San Martin De Los Andes and Bariloche where we enjoyed more stunning scenery and hiking. On our way back to Buenos Aires, we took the Tren Patagonia to Las Grutas before meeting up with Audrey's dad again.
To finish off our trip in Argentina, we spent more time in the capital and later Mendoza where we got to experience wine tourism to its fullest extent. Overall, we had an amazing time travelling around Argentina having only scratched the surface of this vast and diverse country.
Overall our Argentina travel series explores cities, small towns that are off-the-beaten-path, and scenic attractions with a strong emphasis on Argentina cuisine and local culture.

Mendoza (/mɛnˈdoʊzə/, American Spanish: [menˈdosa]), officially the City of Mendoza (Spanish: Ciudad de Mendoza) is the capital of the province of Mendoza in Argentina. It is located in the northern-central part of the province, in a region of foothills and high plains, on the eastern side of the Andes. As of the 2010 census [INDEC], Mendoza had a population of 115,041 with a metropolitan population of 1,055,679, making Greater Mendoza the fourth largest census metropolitan area in the country.
Ruta Nacional 7, the major road running between Buenos Aires and Santiago, runs through Mendoza. The city is a frequent stopover for climbers on their way to Aconcagua (the highest mountain in the Western and Southern Hemispheres) and for adventure travelers interested in mountaineering, hiking, horse riding, rafting, and other sports. In the winter, skiers come to the city for easy access to the Andes.
Two of the main industries of the Mendoza area are olive oil production and Argentine wine. The region around Greater Mendoza is the largest wine-producing area in Latin America. As such, Mendoza is one of the nine Great Wine Capitals,[1] and the city is an emerging enotourism destination and base for exploring the region's hundreds of wineries located along the Argentina -wikipdeia

Parque Provincial Aconcagua in Mendoza, Argentina
Parque Provincial Aconcagua in Mendoza, Argentina
The Aconcagua Provincial Park is located in the northwest of the province of Mendoza , is located 165 km from the city of Mendoza , and 75 km from Uspallata.
The top of the mountain is 12 km from the border with Chile , and 18 km from the international route. They surround it by the north and the southwest the broken one and the valley of the Horcones, that serve as bed to the river of the same name; to the south, the quebrada de Horcones Inferior; to the north and east the Valley of the Vacas.
In 1983 it was declared a protected natural area. It is one of the 10 natural reserves that form the system of protected natural areas of the province of Mendoza.
The park houses large glaciers, which act as a water reserve. There are important archaeological sites . It is the preferred scenario for climbers.
The entrance to Aconcagua Provincial Park is 2 km away from Puente del Inca.
The origin of the name ‘Aconcagua’ is the term in quechua language “Ackon-Cauak”, which means ‘Stone Sentinel’.
Area attractions
Trekking is one of the most developed activities within the park.
There are several paths for trekking inside the park but most of the fixtures and the places to visit in the tours are for mountain climbers.
While planning or starting any tour, it is important to take into account the altitude as the main obstacle of the area. A quick ascent may bring about ‘mountain sickness’ (nauseas, headache that does not disappear with aspirins, insomnia, loss of appetite, breathing difficulties, vertigo, etc.)
From the entrance to Confluencia
The first trail is the same for trekkers and climbers. It goes through the beautiful Laguna de Horcones (a lagoon) and the Quebrada del Durazno (a ravine). After going through Valle Horcones, a valley of short vegetation and lots of greenery, you will approach Confluencia. This path implies medium difficulty and it is well marked. Further ahead, the landscape slowly turns white and the path that borders the river will lead you to the place where the rivers originate while approaching the Inferior Horcones Glacier. The trekking lasts from 4 to 6 hours.
Trekking to Plaza Francia
From Confluencia you can reach Plaza Francia. This camping site constitutes the base for the mountain climbers who try to climb the southern face of the Aconcagua, the most difficult one. One of its main characteristics is the few vegetation and the soft winds, which gives camping a good chance. From Plaza Francia you will ascend to the Almacenes (4,800m) and Mirador (5,800m) hills.
Trekking to Plaza de Mulas
Plaza de Mulas is at 4250 m. You can visit the high camping sites and the surrounding hills, always returning for bedtime. To get there from Confluencia you will go through a humid which from Piedra Grande on, it continues to the right of the Horcones River. You will later access Playa Ancha and later, Quebrada del Sargento (a ravine). Towards the end, heading to Cuesta Brava, you will get to Plaza de Mulas.
During the tours you will be able to see the autochthonous flora and fauna that presents special adaptations to the extreme dry conditions, to wind and cold. The limit to vegetation is at 4000 m approximately where the ‘Altitude desert’ begins.
The condor lives at great heights. It constitutes a very important piece for the ecosystem since it is a carrion-eater bird that helps to avoid pollution and diseases. Other animals at these great heights are small rodents and small lizards.
Park’s general info
A right ascent takes time so as to give the body the chance of adapting to the weather and to the altitude. The first compulsory part if from Horcones until Confluencia, and only a few days later you can continue with the rest of the parts.
The park does not count with visitors’ area, that is to say, no public restrooms, restaurants, groceries stores, accommodation or regular transportation. The nearest service center is Puente del Inca, which is 4 km away.
For drivers it is advisable to always have the gas tank full, radiator water with anti freezing / cooling products and to take all the security elements: lights in good conditions, 5 liters of water for the radiator, cellular.
There are no compressed natural gas stations.
Access to the park
You have to get an access permission which you can get in person at the Customer Services stand in order to enter the National Park. People under age 14 can only access until Quebrada de Durazno, which is 3100 m.
On the rest of the park, minors of ages between 14 and 21 can only enter with a certified authorization of both parents.
