Experience and climb Illinizas with Gulliver Expeditions - Best tours in Ecuador
The Ilinizas are two peaks located 55km Southwest of Quito. Iliniza Sur (5250m) is famous for being the sixth highest mountain in the country whilst Iliniza Norte (5126m) is the eighth highest.
Prehistorically, they were one volcano but today the two peaks are separated by a saddle of about 1km in width. Both peaks offer some of the more enjoyable climbing in Ecuador. For the exprience hiker or soft climber, the North peak is a truly fun climb with some heart- stopping scrambles thrown in.It offers great opportunity to observe volcanic crater, paramo and the whole valley of the volcanoes. If you are unsure as to if this trip suits you, please contact us for advice prior to booking.

Please enjoy the video, and I am sorry that references and links to articles and studies quoted in some videos are missing due to an description error.
Warning - important message about Wim Hof Method, please read carefully.
The breathing exercise has a profound effect and should be practiced in the way it is explained. Always do the breathing exercise in a safe environment (e.g. sitting on a couch/floor) and unforced.
Never practice the exercises before or during diving, driving, swimming, taking a bath or in any other environment/place where, should you pass out, a serious injury could occur. Wim Hof breathing may cause tingling sensations and/or lightheadedness. If you’ve fainted, it means that you went to far. Take a step back next time.
The cold is a powerful force. We strongly advise to gradually build up exposing yourself to the cold. Always train without force and listen to your body carefully. If it is not practiced responsible, there is a risk of hypothermia.
Do not practice the method during pregnancy or when having epilepsy. Persons with cardiovascular health issues, or any other (serious) health conditions, should always consult a medical doctor before starting with the Wim Hof Method.

Climbing Cotopaxi Volcano in Ecuador - How it Works - Documentary
This is an accessible high altitude climbing experience open to anyone visiting Ecuador and looking for a quality challenge. Finding a guide company in the town of Quito is a simple matter. It will take two days including the prep and transport to the mountain. Some acclimatization will help significantly as you will need to get up to close to 20,000 feet in elevation to tag the summit.

Ecuador: Quest to Touch the Sun - Part 1 Volcano Rucu Pichincha
In June 2017, after 6 months on intensive training, I embarked with fellow climber Nick on an adventure in Ecuador, which I have entitled Quest to Touch the Sun. This video is Part 1 and is a training acclimation climb to the summit of the Volcano Rucu Pichincha at 15,419 feet. Nick and I are the first clients to climb with Andengipfel Reisen, a new touring company formed by Karla Riegler and internationally certified mountain guide Estalin Suarez. This video provides a good idea about climbing Rucu Pichincha, just to the West of Quito.

INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL trail run in Quito, ECUADOR || Pichincha Volcano (Correr en Quito)
After a ride up the TelefériQo, Ann and I explore some trails around Pichincha Volcano, which overlooks the city of Quito. The elevation of the run was high (13,000ft+) and the winds were strong, but the sky was clear and the day was beautiful. Come along with us as this run was all about the stunning views! Oh yeah, Ann even makes a new friend along the way!

Pasochoa, 4200m, Volcano Summit Climb ECUADOR
Hiking tour to Pasochoa Mountain.
Pasochoa is a beautiful, 4199 meters (13776 ft) high mountain. The trek is an excellent acclimatization climb which can be used to prepare for more challenging mountains such as Cotopaxi and Chimborazo. The highlight of the Pasochoa trek is its humid cloud forest, situated inside an extinct volcanic crater near Quito. We find over one hundred species of bird and 50 species of original Andean trees. It provides a wonderful day trip. The trek is relatively gentle, going through amazing Páramo grasslands and cloud forests which boast of stunning Andean wildlife, including bulls, horses, hummingbirds, the viridian metal tail, mountain tanagers, red crested cotinga and the occasional andean condor. Climbing The Rucu Pichincha Volcano, Ecuador - Hiking To The Clouds
View the virtual tour of this trip on Exploration Junkie:
The Pichincha Volcano is right next to Ecuador's capital city, Quito. From the cable car station, it's easy to find the path that will lead you to the top of the lower summit of the volcano, the Rucu Pichincha (4698 m).
Even for a good hiker, the ascent can be really challenging if you are not acclimatized well enough to the altitude.
The ever changing weather conditions, strong winds and cold are not helping either!
But when you finally reach the top, all the hardship is forgotten and you are left with really cool memories.
