The UNBELIEVABLE Sapa, Vietnam
This was my last spot in Vietnam and in over 3 months travelling, and this has been the MOST INCREDIBLE for scenery so far.
I wish I had 4K for this, I really don't think my videos quality do this place justice.
I'd heard a lot of people recommend this place. I took a sleeper bus for around 7 hrs to get there - pretty cramped in you're tall like me, but got a few hrs in at least!
Arrived at 5:30am and begin climbing a littler later. The hike took around 6-7 hrs hours which was pretty tough to start with due to the heat, but absolutely worth it due to the sights of the scenery as you can see!
I spent the night in the homestay with a local family, then spent the next day trekking for about 3 hrs back where we then got picked up and returned back.
If you're heading to Vietnam - 110% make sure to go here for a couple of days!
Next stop - Laos

SAPA VIETNAM Travel up Fansipan Mountain
Are you thinking of heading to Sapa Vietnam to travel up Fansipan and wondering if it is worth it?
Fansipan mountain was the main reason we decided to ride to Sapa and in this second video, we finish our Fansipan cable car ride to the top. The first thing we noticed when we got up there, was just how much colder it was! It was freezing, way colder than we had expected. The second thing we noticed was the amazing views!
As this is the highest point in Vietnam and the tallest mountain in IndoChina, at 3,143 metres, the air does get a bit thinner up there and we certainly noticed this when we chose to climb the 600 stairs to the very top. However there is the option of another funicular to run you up to the top if stairs aren't your thing.
Do we think it is worth it, definitely! It's not cheap, as we covered in our previous video, but we are glad we made the decision to do it. The two points we would make are - We went in the low season and the crowds were totally bearable, we do worry in high season the numbers of people and lack of room could have a very negative effect on the experience and the second point is - food and drink up the top costs twice as much or more than what you will pay in town, so if you are travelling on a budget, take drinks and snacks with you.
If you are going to travel Vietnam and thinking of heading out Sapa way, definitely consider putting Fansipan on the list!
We'd love it if you liked and shared this video, so others who haven't yet heard of us, also get a chance to share in the experience. Thanks :)

Music: To Be A Ball Of Light by Late Night Feeler
We are Leon and Tash, a New Zealand vlogging couple who set off on an amazing Vietnam adventure as fulltime travellers, backpacking Vietnam.
But we weren't going to travel to Vietnam for one of those ordinary backpacking Vietnam trips you hear about everybody doing, where they go for a couple off weeks and check out the beaches or maybe riding through Vietnam at such a crazy pace that they never get off the beaten track. No we want more than that.
Our Vietnam adventures start with learning the way of the locals, taking just enough time to figure out how things work, discover what the Must see places in Vietnam are and more importantly where Vietnam's hidden gems are...
To do this, we moved to Danang Vietnam. The plan was to spend 3 months living in Da Nang, meeting and learning from locals about the culture, the amazing food, their way of living and what places they would recommend to travel in Vietnam.
And because Danang is in the middle of the country, we hoped we might meet other tourists or expats who were having their own Vietnam travel adventure or were at the halfway point of motorcycle riding through Vietnam and hear from them, what places they thought we must visit in Vietnam. Also, as new travel vloggers, having a base there meant we could try things like doing Da Nang Vietnam travel vlog or creating a Danang Vietnam travel guide, before also taking on the stresses of fulltime travel.
Then in month 4, that's when the real Vietnam adventure begins. With our new list of must see places, we will head to Saigon and buy a couple of motorbikes. to start our Vietnam road trip!
Motorcycle riding through Vietnam seems like one of the most hectic, crazy and chaotic things anyone could do, but we can't wait!! And we wont be following a simple South to North / Saigon to Hanoi route, we plan on doing more like a figure 8, so that our travel in Vietnam will cover both the inland and coastal areas of this amazing country.
So can we still say we are backpacking Vietnam? Or should we be telling people our travel in Vietnam is a motorcycle trip through Vietnam? We're not sure, but what we do know is, our Vietnam road trip is going to cover over 6000km's from Saigon right up to the famous waterfalls of Ban Gioc near Cao Bang, round the northern point of the Ha Giang loop and everything else we can access in between.
So we hope you'll join us, the New Zealand vlogging couple, on our Vietnam adventure by clicking subscribe to join the Tribe and experience our travel in Vietnam..
Hiking up Vietnam's Highest Peak - Mt. Fansipan
Our 2 day, 1 night climb up Mt Fansipan in Vietnam.
In wet and slippery conditions the difficulty level jumped up a few notches. Should've trained more, but it was super fun!

Introduction about Sapa Vietnam - Top Tourist Attractions in Vietnam
I just have a great vacation in SAPA and that was a memorable trip so today I want to make this video to briefly introduce about SAPA for visitors who want to discover this town.
If I mention of snow, waterfall, the most beautiful terraced fields and the traditional dress of minority groups. I believe that most Vietnamese people can guess it’s sapa - a frontier township in Lao Cai Province in North-West VietNam.
As far as I know, The best time to travel to SAPA is in November because It’s a little cold so you can easily climb up a mountain to see the entire town and a picturesque landscape. There are 2 vehicles to move from HaNoi to Sapa and In my opinion, You should travel by bus due to convenience and a cheap price. Besides, I can hire a motorbike to discover the beautiful town in SAPA.
There are many accommodations such as: hotel, homestay and hostel. You can reserve a room by booking.com, tripi.vn or agoda.com.
If you are a food follower, I recommend that You should try hot-pot with sturgeon, crab rice noodle soup, anabas noodle soup and don’t miss barbeques. All of it is very delicious.
SAPA has many beautiful natural scenery such as Silver Falls about 200 m high, Cloud Bridge is a historical relic of the people, Heaven Gate is the highest point that the road can go to watch Phan Xi Pang peak, Truc forest, Ta Phin cave, Sa Pa ancient rock reserve in Muong Hoa valley. Ham Rong is a place to grow a lot of flowers, colorful colors and are planted on a campus. There are also orchid garden with many rare flowers. Besides, Cat Cat Village and Ta Van Village are the most amazing villages in VietNam.
Sa Pa has a peak of Phan Xi Pang 3143m high on Hoang Lien Son Range - it is the highest mountain in Indochina hence its nickname the Roof of Indochina –
And last but not least, It”s the only one place in VietNam where snow is falling.
I make sure that tourists wil be impressed by the scenery and the local people in SAPA.

Sapa, Vietnam - 2 day hike with Sapa Sisters
Unbelievable Mount Fansipan trekking trip in sapa vietnam..
In vietnam, amazing trekking trip to the top of mount Fansipan 3.143m with raining and fog unbelievable colder huhuu I like it.
Hiking Fansipan in One Day
Sapa, Vietnam.
Amateur first-timer hiker, trekking up Mount Fansipan, the rooftop of Indochina! 3143 meters above sea level.
This trek is believed to be of the same difficulty level as Mount Kinabalu in Malaysia.
The climb was one of the best experiences I have ever had. So happy we decided to make it happen as we were super reluctant because neither of us were into this hardcore shit. Hotel staffs from a few places, told us not to bother, and that it was impossible to do it within one day, and that we would be better off doing day tour trekking around the villages…
Despite the lack of trekking experiences nor the prior training for this climb, we made it to the summit within one day.
For sure I would have regretted it if we went all the way up to Sapa, and missed the opportunity to make it to the top. After lengthy discussion over many days, we decided to challenge ourselves and give it a try!
The journey was epic. It was tiring but totally well worth it! The view was superbly spectacular throughout the whole route... (obviously better than the village trek that hotel staff suggested! Ha!)
Our tour guide “Sho” is a local Mhong dude, ethnic minority in the area, and speaks excellent English!
Up, up, up, it went…. and down, down, down… up again and down again, countless of ups and downs, and finally… after over 7 hours on foot, we made it to the top!
We were overjoyed that the way back down was by the cable car… it was a bit of a rush when we were at the top because the cable car station was closing by the time we got there…
After the trip, the tour operator provided us a foot massage ????
The next morning we had a herbal bath ????
No pain or achy feeling at all! Mission well well well accomplished! ????

THE SCARIEST CABLECAR IN THE WORLD (and the longest) | SAPA VIETNAM
Ascending to the top of 3100m Mt. Fansipan in Sapa, Vietnam, is the scariest cablecar in the world. It's a double Guinness world record holder for length and height climbed and it's an incredible feat of engineering. We ride this cable car to the summit of the mountain where we discover a temple complex out of a fantasy film, surrounded by clouds.

ASIA TRIP VLOG 8 | Vietnam - Hanoi & Sapa (3-Day Trek)
Hanoi & Sapa, Vietnam
28 September - 1 October, 2017
With under 24 hours in Hanoi, we did our best to explore the Old Quarter. Then it was on to Sapa, for a 3-day trek through the mountains, guided by a lovely local named Lou.
Day 1- Covered 16km and we stayed at a quaint homestay on the mountain-side.
Day 2 -Continued on a further 18km trek through multiple villages and arrived at the lowest point we would travel.
Day 3 -We explored the local village, went for a swim, and after lunch, got a bus back up to Sapa city.
The 3-day hike - including tour guide, 2 nights accommo and return sleeper bus from Hanoi - cost approx. $75AUD each and can be booked at most hotels/booking offices in Hanoi for similar prices.
