An Afternoon Exploring Zagreb, Croatia
This is a quick video I made of an afternoon and evening that I spent exploring the city of Zagreb, Croatia. Zagreb is the capital and besides hitting the streets, we learnt more about the neck tie and visited the Museum of Broken Relationships - good times.

Zagreb In Your Pocket - Lotrščak tower and Grič cannon (Kula Lotrščak i Grički top)
Zagreb In Your Pocket editor Kristina Kovač tours the main sites of Zagreb. If in Zagreb you hear the blast of cannon fire, fear not, it simply means it's midday. This auditory onslaught is not an elaborate pigeon-scaring scheme. According to one legend, a cannon shot from the Lotrščak tower soared over the river Sava and landed in the Turks' encampment, right on a platter of chicken that was being carried to the Pasha for his lunch. The Pasha decided against attacking a city of fearsome sharpshooters so Zagreb escaped invasion. Since this ace shot was fired at noon, a cannon has been fired at that time from the same tower ever since. Sited in the upper town, the tower originally was part of the city's defences, and later served as a prison. Nowadays, it houses a gallery and an art shop, and the view from the top is well worth the climb.

BOL Croatia. Brac is Amazing Is this REAL LIFE?

------------------
Bol is situated on the southern part of the island Brac, and is the oldest town on the coast of Brac. This little town was founded long ago and became an extraordinary tourist oasis because of the wide gravel and sandy beaches which expands over 10 km and the sources of drinking water. It is not possible to avoid the Zlatni rat, certainly the most beautiful beach on the Adriatic sea, whose cape is turning one moment to one side and the other moment to the other side playing a strange game with the wind and the waves.
Above Bol is rising the coronet of Bols hills, the illlyrian fortress Kostilo (660 m) and the Vidova gora (778 m), the highest top of the Adriatic islands. Bol is only 15 km away from the international tourist and sports airport Brac, and excellent connected with the fast lines to the coast, but also with a ferry- line from Supetar.
Bol actually has a lot to offer to everyone. You can relax at the beach and get some tan, or you can be active as much as you like. Outdoor activities in Bol include hiking, scuba diving, windsurfing, kite surfing, quad rides, sightseeing (museums, galleries, traditional architecture), para-sailing, banana and tube rides, water skiing, free climbing and much more.
Bol also offer wide variety of restaurants and bars for you to choose from. Most restaurants offer local and Mediterranean specialties, most popular being ‘Lamb on a spit’ and ‘Octopus under Peka’. If you like trying different food you should definitely try ‘Vitalac’ which is a dish authentic to island Brac.
Bol has a lot to offer accommodation wise. First of all, there are four large hotels, many small family owned hotels and also vast selection of private self-catering apartments in Bol for you to choose from. Hotels in Bol offer all inclusive or half board service, with two hotels offering many activities, animation and wellness centers. Bluesun hotel Elaphusa has huge wellness that covers 3000 square meters and all the water inside is sea water (swimming pool, three Jacuzzi and treatment baths). Four major hotels in Bol ( Three Bluesun hotels: Elaphusa 4*, Borak 3* and Bonaca 3* all inclusive family hotel, and Hotel Bretanide 3* all inclusive) are located half way from Bol center to Zlatni rat beach, by the promenade, all close to the sea. Most hotels have minimum stay of 3+ nights, but you can also stay one to three nights with extra payment of 30% daily rate.

City of Hvar:
The city of Hvar is a unique fusion of luxurious Mediterranean nature, rich cultural and historical heritage, and mundane, tourist present. It is situated in picturesque nature, facing the southern, side of the world that has given it all Mediterranean attraction and cheerfulness; facing sea, that gave it splendid and repeatable history, Hvar is an inexhaustible treasury of the scenery, atmosphere and adventure. Its name derives from the Greek name for island and town, that stood where today Stari Grad (Hvar became an island’s centre in 13th century) stands - PHAROS.
Hvar gained glory and power during middle ages being an important port within the Venetian, naval empire. Today, it is centre of island’s tourism and one of the favourite destinations in Dalmatian riviera - a town of smiling and courteous people, who are almost only dedicated to tourism.
