Sapporo Clock Tower (Tokeidai) - Hokkaido, Japan
The Clock Tower (時計台, Tokeidai) is a symbol of Sapporo. The building was constructed during the early period of Sapporo's development in 1878 as a drill hall of the Sapporo Agricultural College. In 1881 a clock purchased from Boston was installed.
Today, the Clock Tower serves as a museum with displays about the building's history and Sapporo on the first floor. On the second floor are displays about the clock and a spacious ceremony hall that calls to mind the simple buildings of the colonial American Midwest.
The Clock Tower is four blocks or a ten minute walk south of JR Sapporo Station, and one block north of Odori Park.

時計台に行ってみた Sapporo Clock Tower
JR札幌駅から約700m、歩いて約15分ほどの場所にある札幌市時計台（地下鉄大通駅からなら約5分ほど）。
札幌農学校（今の北海道大学）の演武場として1878（明治11）年に建設されました。
時計台として名が知れていますが、実は1998（平成10）年までは正式名称が「旧札幌農学校演武場」でした。現在は改名され「札幌市時計台」が正式名称になっています。
屋根や外壁などの塗装が劣化していることから、昨年（2018年）塗替えなどの外部改修工事が実施されキレイな外観へと生まれ変わりました。
中に入ると、1階は時計台にまつわる歴史が展示され、2階では再現された演武場を見ることができます。

Travel Vlog Hokkaido l Part 4 l Sapporo TV Tower,Nijo Market & Clock Tower
Hey guys, so this is the last part for our Sapporo trip on January 2019.
We explored Sapporo to the last bit of our time there and had the chance to go to Sapporo clock tower, TV tower and so forth.
We spent around two days in Sapporo before heading back to our land. Words cannot describe how wonderful our trip was in Otaru especially and of course Sapporo. Well, we are not finish with this trip though as we continue our journey for another 2 days right after we touch down to our land before we get back to work.

Sapporo Clock Tower (札幌時計台 Sapporo Tokeidai) is a wooden structure and well-known local tourist attraction, located at North 1 West 2, Chūō-ku, Sapporo, the largest city on the island of Hokkaidō, northern Japan.
The building is of American design and is one of the few surviving Western-style buildings in Sapporo, a city developed in the 1870s with assistance from the American government. It is known by many as the symbol of the city and is a main feature of almost all domestic and international tours of Sapporo. The clock after which it is named continues to run and keep time, and the chimes can be heard every hour.

Haloooooo. Aku kembali dengan ceritaku di Hokkaido. Di hari-hari berikutnya aku di Hokkaido aku sibuk ditimpa salju deras, makan sushi dan kentang nya Hokkaido yang super enak, pergi ke Clock Tower, dan jatuh di Gunung Salju nya Sapporo ketika main Ski. 札幌市にある、観光地としても有名な札幌市時計台は、国指定重要文化財です。
昨年（2018年）、外部改修工事が行われ、装い鮮やかにリニューアルしました。
時計台は、JR札幌駅から約700ｍ、歩いて15分ほどの場所にあります。
今回、JR札幌駅の東改札口から時計台まで歩いてみました。
