Hepatitis A: Natural Treatment from Panama & Cloud Forest Botanicals
Client testimonial for Bitter is Better, an herbal liver support tincture from the Panama rain forest. Organic or wild crafted medicinal plants grown on Finca Luz at an elevation of almost 5,000 feet in Boquete, Panama. The video was grabbed on the spot with a nano second of notice in the midst of a very crowded Tuesday Market in Boquete. Hey! We're herbalists--not videographers.

FincaLuzYT854
The photos in this slideshow were taken from the Medicine Trail Walk at Finca Luz in the cloudforest on the mountain slopes high above Boquete, Panama. This video is not intended to be a documentary of the interpretive botanical tour, but rather a photographic journey along the paths of Finca Luz.
Finca Luz is an organic coffee and medicinal plant farm that retains some of the feel of the rainforest. The medicinal plants and herbs grow best and retain their medicinal properties better in such a natural environment rather than in a sterile mono-culture environment.
So sit back, relax and join us on a 12--minute walk through a little piece of paradise with classical guitar music to complement the setting.

Panama Adventure
In one week I traveled from one end of Panama to the other, from the metropolis of Panama City, to the rain forest town of El Valle, to the western town of Boquete (a 7 hour drive), back to Coronado, and finally back to the city. Fascinating country: so much variety packed into such a small area!
20+ Acres For Sale in the Highlands of Panama! Next to Mystical Million Acre Las Amistad Parque!.
The ultimate destiny of this 8+ hectare /20+acre resplendent property in the highlands of Panama, Las Nubes, abuts one of only two gates in Panama to the mystical million acre Las Amistad Parque, will be determined by whoever chooses to purchase it. The possibilities are multitudinous. The property is absolutely stunning, yet has many practical aspects to it.
The property has a myriad of potential uses including:
I. A building site for a home at the top of the property where there exists a large flat natural area near a natural spring
(one of three on the property)
2. A home for development of a complex where scientific research in the parquet would be situated;
3. for agricultural purpose;
4. for development of an Eco lodge
(with contiguity to the entrance to the parquet)
The property has extensive frontage, and standing on the road one views the stunning and verdant property itself. The front 2/3 of property has been cleared in the past of most of the trees, making it more usable right away.
This area of Panama is famous for its production of fruits, vegetables, and flowers and supplies all of Panama. There is also extensive importation of these botanicals.
The people are very friendly and helpful. The drive to Volcan where groceries, pharmacies, household supplies, professional help (dentist, doctors, attorneys,) is about 15 minute drive.
The road taking you to the property is beautiful and was just widened and improved a couple years ago. Previously the road was rocky and required 4 wheel drive. I hasten to say that the road is of the same quality as highway I from David, the nearest large city on the Pacific Coast.

Tropical Forest at Butterfly Pavilion Colorado
An Exotic Visit to the Butterfly Pavilion, Denver
Visit to see more
The Butterfly Pavilion is home to thousands of living animals called invertebrates. These animals share a common characteristic - they have no backbone! 97% of all animals species on the planet are invertebrates, and our collection represents nearly every habitat on earth. We are an invertebrate zoo featuring mostly arthropods. Arthropods have three distinctive characteristics - they have an exoskeleton, segmented bodies, and jointed attachments called appendages.
During your visit you'll meet many different types of invertebrates. From the tropical butterflies in our rainforest to sea stars at the Water's Edge, these animals will amaze you with their variety and impact on our planet.
...and a few vertebrates
Throughout the facility you'll encounter a handful of vertebrates. Turtles, tortoises, frogs, birds and fish inhabit our Tropical Conservatory. At the Water's Edge you'll find an assortment of tropical fish.
Of course, people are also vertebrates, and we have plenty of them on staff to answer your questions about our animals.
Found an unknown insect in your house or outdoors, and would like to know what it is? Email us a photo at zookeepers@butterflies.org, and we might be able to help identify it!
