Mark Rothfield steps aboard the Palm Beach GT50. This is the sports derivative of Palm Beach capable of traveling at up to 35 knots, burning only 151 litres per-hour, combined. The GT50 is a warped, semi-displacement hull with a very fine bow, soft shoulder, and flat aft section. Entertainers will be impressed with the ice maker, Corian-topped wet bar, drinks cabinet and outdoor fridge. Mark describes it as a sports car outside and luxury saloon inside.

BEST BEACH IN SYDNEY // PALM BEACH
the best beach in Sydney, right at the north of the Sydney area is palm beach which is completely away from the Sydney with the beach often very quiet. There are beautiful panoramic views at the top where the barrenjoey lighthouse is. It's also one of my favourite places in Sydney to watch the sunset over the hills and water to the left.

Palm Beach is a suburb on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia, between Tallebudgera Creek and Currumbin Creek. At the 2006 Census, Palm Beach had a population of 13,494.
Palm Beach is an area with little in the way of natural features to enclose it or to set it apart from other places on the Gold Coast, though it has thrice been voted cleanest beach in Queensland.[2] Certainly subdivided by the mid-1950s the subdivision is unusual in the way in which it straddles both sides of the highway. Streets along the highway are named from first to twenty-eighth starting at the southern end of the area and each second one terminates at the highway. Between the beach and the highway in the southern part of the area the narrow Jefferson Lane links across streets. In this lane are some of the earliest and most basic of Gold Coast beach shacks, some on blocks of land valued in millions of dollars. There is some suggestion that these in fact predate the subdivision and other remnants of an earlier settlement.
Recent extensions of the Palm Beach area to the west have created new subdivisions with different characteristics including a small section of canal development. The area is bounded to the north by the Tallebudgera Creek and the national recreation camp and to the south by tower developments at the mouth of Currumbin Creek. The creek mouths of Tallebudgera and Currumbin have been stabilised with training walls built during the 1970s. Both of the Creek entrances are dredged on an annual basis.[citation needed] There are nearshore bait reefs along Palm Beach and offshore there are fishing reefs that are some of the most productive of the Gold Coast.
Laguna Lake is in the south western part of the suburb, with Elizabeth Sloper Gardens park around its edges. The Tallebudgera Creek Tourist Park, at the northern end of Palm Beach, provides holiday accommodation mainly for families. The adjacent Tallebudgera Recreational Camp is a national fitness camp visited by children from throughout Queensland. Neptune Royal Life Saving Club was the first female only club in Australia (often claimed as the world)[citation needed] and still provides patrol services for people swimming in Tallebudgera Creek estuary. It remains the only club on the Gold Coast not affiliated with Surf Life Saving.
Palm Beach is also patrolled by the Palm Beach Surf Life Saving Club at 7th Avenue and Pacific Surf Life Saving Club near 19th Avenue.
Local sporting clubs include soccer club Palm Beach Sharks, Palm Beach Currumbin Alleygators RUC and Palm Beach Currumbin Australian Football Club.
The local high school is Palm Beach Currumbin High School.

Family Trip to Palm Beach, Sydney
Summer Bay is the fictious town in Australia's hit TV series Home and Away filmed at Palm Beach on Sydney's Northern Beaches. Palm Beach is one of the best beaches in Sydney, and it's perfect family travel destination. Amazing view, clear and beautiful beach, tasty food and very calm atmosphere will stay in your mind for long time and makes you come back.
Here are getting there, accomodation and food tips:

Best Beaches in Sydney, Australia
Sydney Australia is famous for its beautiful beaches, so I decided to go find the best beaches that this city has to offer...
Here is my list of the Best Beaches in Sydney Australia:
BRONTE BEACH
My list begins on the southside of Sydney’s incredible coastal walk with a family-friendly place called Bronte Beach. Natural and man-made pools protect you from the dangerous rip known as the Bronte Express.
COOGEE BEACH
Over Dolphin’s Point, There’s Coogee Beach, which is much larger than Bronte and also safer for swimming.
Both Bronte and Coogee are located in really cool neighborhoods with some great places to eat and drink down by the water.
CLOVELLY BEACH
In between Coogee and Bronte is the concrete and rocky waterfront of Clovelly Beach - its the perfect place to go if you don’t want any sand in your bikini.
GORDONS BAY
Across Bundock Park is Gordons Bay, which doesn’t have the best beach, but the water is calm and clear so its a really nice spot for snorkeling.
PARSLEY BAY
I absolutely love the smaller bay beaches towards the top end of the Peninsula, and my personal favorite of all these is a cool little hidden gem called Parsley Bay. It is tucked away within a quiet neighborhood and the shark nets make me feel better about swimming.
KUTTIE BEACH
Kuttie is another small, quiet spot within a residential area.
WATSONS BAY
When you're at Watson's Bay, stop by Doyle's for lunch on the water. A completely different vibe here than over between Bondi and Bronte Beach.
MILK BEACH
For amazing views of Sydney Harbor, follow the path to the small and quiet Milk Beach.
TAMARAMA BEACH
Back over on the beautiful coastline, the quiet and secluded Tamarama Beach is great place to get away from the crowds of neighboring Coogee and Bondi.
Its usually occupied by a laid-back, local crowd with a heavy focus on the top-notch surf break.
BONDI BEACH
Just around the rocky cliffs, you’ll find one of the most well known beaches in the world… From the iconic Icebergs pool which overlooks the beach, to the abundance of beautiful sunbathers, Bondi is famous for a reason.
Popular with international backpackers and tourists, its a place to see and be seen. Especially considering its bikini top optional.
Don’t get too distracted though, because There’s tons of beach activities going on, and the waves are a bit more manageable than at other beaches, so its a good place to take your first surf lesson or just go for a swim.
If you’re in town for awhile, stay at the Hotel Ravesis right at the beach and check out some of the chill bars and delicious restaurants around the neighborhood.
MANLY BEACH
If you take the ferry north from Sydney Harbor, you’ll come to Manly Beach - the gateway to the most beautiful stretch of sand in Sydney.
Manly itself is the most lively of all the northern beaches, with surf competitions and weekend events, its a very popular place in the summertime.
But If you’re looking to break away from the crowds, keep heading north and you’ll find a lot more space in the sand at places like Collaroy beach, Avalon beach, and way up at the top, is Palm Beach.
PALM BEACH
Palm Beach is Sydney's most northerly stretch of sand, and It sits on a peninsula at the end of Barrenjoey Road, between Pittwater and Broken Bay. Palm Beach is sometimes referred to as 'Palmy' and its a great spot for surfing and sunbathing. Make sure you walk up to Barrenjoey Lighthouse for an amazing view!
And If you’ve made it this far, you’ve officially explored some of the best beaches in Sydney!
