About
Shallow Crossing Camping Ground is situated on the Clyde River in NSW between Nelligen and Termeil on The River Road at Mogood NSW.
The grounds have been established for 20 years and offers campers easy access to the river there is a causeway which is tidal that allows shallow swimming for children and convenient launching of canoes or kayaks.
We provide camping sites on the flats right beside the river. Camp fires are allowed except when there is a total fire ban. The amenities block has hot showers and composting toilets.
We are pet friendly, dogs must be well socialised!
Other activities that campers partake in include Push Bike riding on the many trails through the State Forests surrounding the camping ground, Bush Walking, Fishing (when permitted), Bird watching or just sitting back and relaxing in the lovely bush setting.

Shallow Crossing Camping Ground Rules of Conduct
This is a private camping ground as well as our home. Management reserves the right to evict, at our discretion and without refund, any person whose conduct violates camping ground rules.
Vehicles For the safety of all the speed limit in the camping ground is walking pace only! Motor bikes and ATV’s are not to be ridden around the camping ground other than entering or exiting to ride on the public road at walking pace only.
Noise The peaceful enjoyment of our camping ground by all visitors is important to us. Please consider your neighbours and restrict noise from radios and social gatherings after 10pm. The person whose name is on the rules of conduct form is responsible for the orderly conduct of all members of their party and their guests
Amenities The camping ground operates on tank water. Disposable nappies are not to put into the composting toilets. Children are to be supervised by an adult when using the amenities.
Open Fires Open fires are permitted in the fire drums provided, except during a total fire ban. Do not use rock or stones to surround your fire as they can explode.
Pets Pets are permitted at the camping ground and are to be kept under control at all times. It is the pet owners’ responsibility to clean up after your pet.
Garbage Bins are provided for your convenience but if you would like to take your rubbish with you that would be even better as there is no council waste service. Please reduce waste by crushing cans and plastic bottles and containers. No broken camping equipment or large empty water containers are to be left in or around the bins please take them home with you!
