Coco Dive - Labuan CDTC 2017

After their Course Director Training Course in Kota Kinabalu, these successful divers came to let their hair down in Labuan.

They spent 3 days diving with us on our wrecks (Australian Wreck, Ciment Wreck, Blue Water Wreck...) and reefs (Batu Agong, Lobster Point...) to celebrate their new roles as PADI Course Directors.

Congratulations to all attendees and thanks to PADI and Tourism Malaysia for choosing Coco Dive.

Co.Co Dive - The Chameleon of the Sea

This past week the reefs of Miri, Sarawak, Borneo have been full of these amazingly intelligent creatures and we have loved very minute of it! Cuttlefish or Chameleons of the Sea have the remarkable ability to rapidly change their skin colour, pattern and appear to pulse with light. These rapid changes are used to communicate with other cuttlefish, camouflage to match almost any background, and as a dramatic display to warn potential predators. It is also believed that this awesome display of pulsing colour is used to hypnotize their prey while hunting.

美里值得一去，潜水中心就在市区，一天完毕还可以在美里市区活动。
海底更是杂志上描绘的那一片尚未被蹂躏的净土，珊瑚百花般争艳，赏心悦目。
鱼也显得像初生牛，对外来侵袭物种毫无防范，要拍照还可以贴得特别近。

Co.Co Dive - Kenyalang Rig to Reef Wreck

Miri Sibuti Coral Reefs National Park is the largest offshore national park in Sarawak, encompassing 186,930 hectares of the South China Sea. Within this National Park is the Kenyalang rig to reef wreck. Miri is the first in the state to turn part of an oil platform into a coral-reef-based breeding ground for marine life. Fish species commonly sighted include large schools of juvenile jack fish, long fin batfish, barracuda, bannerfish, damselfish, snapper, sweetlips, coral trout, fusiliers, scorpion fish and grouper.
