Coal Creek Community Park and Museum
Coal Creek Community Park and Museum is located in Korumburra in Victoria. It would have to be the most understated attraction within Australia. It has free entry and is based on the early Australian pioneer period. You can ride a train there and experience a time long gone through one of the best collections of historic buildings and antiques from that early gold mining period. You can easily spend a half a day there to see it all. I can recommend it as a major destination stop within Australia.

THE WAY I LIKE TO GO TO COAL CREEK:
- Just get on the Monash Freeway and head out of town
- Just keep following the signs to Cranbourne
- Keep going through Cranbourne toward Tooradin.
- Kids love the fighter Jet mounted in front of the RSL just the other side of Cranbourne (it’s on the left and you can miss it if not paying attention)
- Keep going to Tooradin.
- Just after Tooradin, keep your eye out for the Tooradin Airport (it will be on your right). Call in and park the car. Let the kids get out and have a look at the old fishing boat parked right at the side of the runway. Then prepare to make up plenty of stories about how it got there.
- Just keep travelling along the South Gippsland Highway (ensuring you pay attention to the fact that twenty or so kilometres after Tooradin, the South Gippsland Highway veers left off what becomes the Bass Highway.
- Cruise into the nice little town of Korumburra, drive up the main drag, through the dog leg at the top, then just on the other side of town, on the left, is Coal Creek.
- Have an excellent time.
THE WAY I LIKE TO GO BACK TO MELBOURNE:
- Head back through town, the way you came.
- Just on the other side of town from Coal Creek is the turnoff for Warragul (it’s on the right and well signposted).
- Follow this road to Warragul through some of the nicest countryside outside Melbourne.
- At Warragul, just turn left onto the Princes Highway, set the cruise control and enjoy your leisurely ride home.

Is Coal Creek Historic Village HAUNTED???
I was gonna make a whole video of all my photos from Coal Creek but my phone memory was full so I couldn't. Here is the videos I made put into one.
Coal Creek is located in Victoria, Australia and is a free community park and museum that is free to visit.
I highly recommend doing the ghost tour as the our hostess was fully knowledgeable and had experienced quite a few paranormal happenings herself.
We did a huge paranormal investigation with the Australian Paranormal Society the night before which I didn't get to film a lot of so we went back the next day to wander around and try Spirit Box for ourselves in our own time.

COAL CREEK/KORUMBURRA, RANDOM SPIRIT BOX SESSIONS
While heading out to Korumburra in Victoria's Gippsland region (Australia) for a ghost tour and paranormal investigation with the Australian Paranormal Society, we decided to get there a day earlier to get a feel for the area.
I wanted to try a random spirit box session so we found a lush, green picnic spot and tried one, later that night we visited the local cemetery and tried another one. We had found some abandoned toys at our camping spot and decided to put them on a couple children's graves and while we experienced some spooky sounds coming from the middle entrance gate as we rocked up (the sound of a truck passing where there was no truck and the sound of something hitting our vehicle or being thrown) the cemetery was wholly benign and very calming and quiet.
I'm curious as to know who Paul, William and Jake are and if they're in anyway connected to the area...
Good quality headphones recommended.
Let me know if you hear what I hear or something different.
Cheers,
-GhostBitches
The Coal Creek Story UPDATED
We don't really care much about our heritage, do we? That's what some would have you believe. Learn about this little place in this short documentary I decided to do one day. I don't claim to own any of the music and used selected dialogue with permission. Enjoy!
P.S. Hopefully the audio is in sync now

Coal Creek July 27th/28th 2013 - Train 2nd Class Carriage
Ghost investigation with Spirit Seekers at Coal Creek Community Park & Museum Korumburra South Gippsland. Five in the group all females. I had set-up my multi-spectrum video camera on a seat at the end of the corridor and left it running. The train whistle comes from a ride on the platform that goes off by itself which was to switched off due to someone earlier testing the theory putting coins into the ride. A spirit box session was going on but also my camera's speakers picked up the following:
- about 10:20 mark male voice saying tell
- soft static sound which grew very loud about 19 min mark
- about 22:25 mark male voice saying scratch me like that
