River of Golden Dreams Canoe Tour
Voted Whistler’s number one thing to do, not only by visitors but by the locals! An enchanting journey from lake to lake, the River of Golden Dreams is a summertime classic. Begin your adventure by paddling across the historic Alta Lake where you will pass the original site of Myrtle Phillip's summer fishing resort. Following families of ducks and geese into the lush river mouth you'll paddle through flowing lilies and around bends of overhanging greenery. Flowing with the current, you can lounge lazily along with just a few strokes to steer through narrow passages. As the river opens up again on the other side you'll get picked up on the shore of glacier fed Green Lake.

Wet Winter on Vancouver Island - Whitewater Kayak
In December 2012, Raphaël Boudreault-Simard and Gabriel Côté-Valiquette went kayaking on mysterious Vancouver Island. Rumours of its incredible rivers have been circulating for years but very few images that relate its true potential have been published. Rapha and Gabe documented what they found during their 3 week trip: very little sunshine, lots of rain/snow, some of the best winter kayaking in North America, and a ton of good people. Paddling on Vancouver Island in the winter is not for everyone... but the beauty of the area will make you forget the cold nights.
Special thanks to Shayne, Jenn, Mike and Clay for sheltering us... we would not have made it 4 days without you guys!

PADDLEBOARDING ON A GLACIER! | VANCOUVER ISLAND
We drove from Victoria, BC and took off from Campbell River, Vancouver Island and made our way over to the mainland glacier of British Columbia. We brought our paddleboards and kayaks with us in the helicopter and spent the day on the glacier lake paddling through iceburgs and the bluest water I have ever seen! Bastian our Pilot with 49 North Helicopters offer these experiences along side my friend James with Discovery Stand up! We cooked Fondue for lunch looking over the beautiful mountain range in British Columbia, Canada.

Johnson Lake the Caribbean lake of BC Canada - KAYAKlog: Labour Day Weekend
Sunday morning we headed to the BCFS camp and found a camp spot where we camped for the night to Monday morning when we departed for home. Johnson Lake is an awesome lake to explore. Very clear water and a Turquoise colour as the water deepened. It was quite interesting shooting a clear video underwater.
The BCFS camp was a bit noisy with a camp group by the beach heavily drinking, hooting and hollering all day and most of the evening.
All in all I would highly reccomend paddling on Johnson Lake with water like the Caribbean Ocean where you can watch the fish swim over the sandy lake bottom from the comfort of your kayak.

Canada Expedition - Adventure & Faith
Zentrum (zjp2.at) durchgeführten Outreach-Programm - organisiert wurde.

Why travel all the way from Europe to take on a never before hiked route of British Columbia's Back Country? Why risk Grizzly Bears and Cougars and Wolves and whatever else these mountains can throw at you?
European Group makes history! - this was the first sentence of a British Columbia Newspaper article reporting on the expedition organized by the Faith & Adventure - an Outreach Programm run by the John Paul II. Center in Vienna, Austria. The expedition took place from the 1st to the 16th of July 2017 in the BC back country and involved the traversing of the Coastal Mountains between Squamish and Powell River and, in the second phase, a kayak tour from Lund to the Toba Inlet and back.
This video seeks to answer the question why using footage taken on the expedition and interviews with participants on the trek itself and in Vancouver. This video is an attempt to give a quick answer to a lot of peoples insistence that we should offer something as quickly as possible, knowing that a more professional documentary will come out late fall 2017.
NB: The Background music with a big THANKS and you guys are awesome! to the Piano Guys ( especially, Ants Marching, Beethoven`s 5 Secrets, and One Direction
NBB: We have to redo our more professional documentary of the 2017 trek, so meanwhile, wanted to have something online about our trip back then...
Cameron River, Vancouver Island, Canada - 5.5 ft
The Cameron is a lovely workout a few clicks east of Port Alberni. 5km of near-continous whitewater, with nothing harder than Class IV, it's a local favourite for Nanaimo boaters and one of the top runs on the Island. The difficulty of the Cameron is somewhat deceptive, however: Individually, the drops are quite reasonable, but the action is virtually non-stop.
