Excitor Fast Boat: Paihia, Bay of Islands, New Zealand
March 2011: Excitor trip (fast boat) from Paihia to the Hole in the Rock, Bay of Islands, New Zealand. The video is a little shaky having been joined together from several hand-held recordings, but the high-speed boat ride was certainly a very exhilarating experience.
Kayaking Haruru Falls, Paihia, Northaland NZ
Having fun at Haruru Falls in Paihia. Paddled 5 minutes upstream from car park in front of camping grounds on Old Wharf Road to get there.
We took turns swapping so all the kids and both of us could have a go.
Best done at high tide, there are exposed rocks at low tide.
Whangarei Falls, Haruru Falls, Waitangi River, Paihia Beach at Te Ti Bay, Ruakaka Beach at Bream Ba
Featuring some of waters falls and beaches in the North Island. The murky waters and rapids are the result of the outpouring of the rain the day before. Under 3 hours drive from Auckland, these nature escapes can be visited along the way going up to Paihia in the Bay of Islands. New Zealand's nature at it's best.
