Old Dog Jackson
Is the solo alter ego of Dr. A. Who for the last 40 odd years
has gone from Drums with the original London based Blues
Consortium in the 60’s to bass guitarist with various heavy
rock bands, Keyboards and Guitars with Tamer, Dr. A’s
Blues Consortium, Dr. A’s Rhythm & Grooves and six years
touring with King Rollo, 1 st on Drums then Keyboards.
Good reviews by radio stations and “Blues Matters” and he is part of Krossboarder Rekords’ Family of Artists.
So what do you get?! Well to quote Lincoln City Radio: “a
heady mix of Swing, Boogie, proper R&B, a gnats of Jazz,
Rock, Reggae, Funk/Fusion, Dance & Cajun with some Well
Crafted Smut & Topical Comment”. Also some singalongs
by The Kinks, Donovan, Hendrix, Chuck Berry, Dylan,
Adge Cutler etc.. plus Free, Haley, Robert Johnson, JJCale,
bit of Clapton, Stones.etc.
In short a shedload of stuff designed to get your hips moving.
The Old Dog is versatile enough to change his repertoire to
suit Blues Venues, Venues where only original material is accepted, plus Acoustic Sessions.
