Schoc Chocolates & Cobblestones Museum, Greytown, New Zealand - North Island Roadtrip Vlog Day 3

Day 3 of our 42-day trip around the North Island of New Zealand was a work day for me, so we spent a lot of the day at our accommodation in Greytown, Greyfriars Motel where we had decent, stable internet and a nice outlook over the gardens. When I took a break, we went for a walk around the town to visit some of the tourist attractions like Schoc Chocolates and Cobblestones Museum. Enjoy!

Old VHS Videos - C0bblestones Museum, Greytown.
Probably around 1980. Back then a visit to the Cobblestones Living Museum in Greytown, Wairarapa, New Zealand was quite an adventure. Most of the displays were just 'there'. You could pick the items up and examine them while puzzling over whatever were they used for. It has many relocated historic buildings which have been restored and dressed with period appropriate items. So it is easy to imagine life as it was a couple of hundred years ago, at least from the viewpoint of comfortable modern life.
It reminds me of Beamish Living Museum in Durham, England, but that is on a much larger scale.
