We, celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary with a three day trip to The Resort at Cocoa Beach, in Cocoa Beach, Florida. It's about 2 1/2 hours from where we live in Winter Haven.

Homeless in Titusville, Florida (In Cocoa, Fl) Cecilia Hill

There is a homeless woman on a bus bench at the corner of Lake and Clearlake rd. who is seen by thousands of people everyday. A viewer reached out to me more than a year ago about her but I don't generally interview the homeless outside of Titusville. The woman's name is Cecilia Hill. She is a 68 year old woman homeless on the streets of Cocoa, Florida. She claims to have no mental illness diagnosis but from the conversation we had I think she does. She says two women moved into her trailer without her permission at a local mobile home park. The two women caused her issues and the police were called. She says the women lied to the police about things that were going on at the trailer and that lead to her being on the street. She says she was married for over 25 years until her husband died nearly 5 years ago. She said between her and her husband they didn't have a lot of money but they were always able to pay their bills. She has an income from Social Security each month but doesn't really have a buget of what she can afford in rent. Many times during the interview I was confused and had a hard time following her story. She is covered in fire ant bites which she says burn and itch terribly. A woman picked her up before the hurricane and took her to a shelter and washed her clothes. For this and much more check out the interview.
