The Edge of the World - Coconino National Forest
I decided to drive 23 miles of rough forest road to get to my next campsite. This is The Edge of the World. Look it up on google maps, just south of Flagstaff, Arizona. The road is looong and rough, but WOW, are the views worth it.
I cannot recommend that your tow a trailer this far into the forest. But I do totally recommend that you visit this place once in your life. This is the edge of the Mogollon Rim north of Sedona.

Forest Highway 3 FH 3 Coconino National Forest
One of my favorite Arizona roads. Lake Mary Road This is the most tame of my favorites. That is why I like it. Forest highway 3 offers scenery, nice rest stops and gentle curves. A nice alternate from taking I 17 to Flagstaff.

Walking on the Edge of the World - Coconino National Forest
After my morning coffee, I decide to walk around the Edge of the World to find an outcropping of rock to climb on! It was a little scary, but the views were worth it.
I'm camped at a place called The Edge of the World that is between Flagstaff and Sedona in the Coconino National Forest. It's an absolutely beautiful area on the edge of the Mogollon Rim. The Mogollon Rim is the very edge of the Colorado Plateau. The rim sits around 7000 feet and Sedona is at 4000 feet.

Hiking Sandys Canyon, Coconino National Forest, AZ
Hiking Walnut Creek, up a small cliff to the Arizona Trail, then along Sandys Canyon Trail #137 to Fisher Point in the Coconino National Forest. Tons of #flowerporn! At least two dozen flower species. Then I checked out a slot cave at the west end of Walnut Canyon. Sandys Canyon is just south of Flagstaff, Arizona. If you hike from the official trailhead, it is a mellow walk. Blog & Links:
