68 Barrys Bridge Road - Pillar Valley
We have just four weeks. We must find our buyer before the 30th of July. Our biggest fear is that qualified buyers will perceive this property to be out of their price range based on presentation alone. Please DO NOT perceive this property to be out of your price range - Our sellers are listening to the market in order to set a reasonable reserve on auction day. A sale within a reasonable time-frame is extremely important.
Pillar Valley is quickly becoming one of the most sought after rural lifestyle hot-spots due to its close proximity to the East Coast of Australia. Properties of this calibre and circumstance rarely present themselves in this location. The biggest weapon in the arsenal that this property is equipped with, is the privacy and seclusion whilst remaining just a stones throw from society (see video). A short 30 minutes drive lands you on the beaches of Minnie Water and Wooli. 30 minutes the other way will bring you to the City of Grafton with the coastal town of Coffs Harbour being within under an hours reach.
The immaculate executive style Craftsman built home is surrounded by approximately 337 acres of Australian bush land. The elongated windows throughout flood the home with natural light whilst displaying your bush surrounds as ever-changing artwork as the seasons progress. Ease of living was front of mind whilst designing, with seamless integrations throughout all parts of the home. A media room + four bedrooms, with arguably the best master suite you'll ever see allow ample space for the largest of families whilst accommodating for guests. The open plan living space spills onto the patio which overlooks your gently undulation, park-like house yard. See the floor-plan to get a real appreciation of the substantial layout.
Now that you love and appreciate the property for what it is, lets go through the finer details
- 10KW solar system for complete off grid living
- 3 x 40,000 litre Rhino water tanks for ample water
- Oversized 4 bay shed fitted with fireplace, workbench and racks
- Added lean-to shed for caravan, tractor or boat
- Various established fruit trees and raised garden beds

The established bushland is equipped with a network of tracks throughout the property giving access to all corners of your land. Two dams are located in close proximity to the house-yard. The versatility of the property has to be experienced to be believed, with low-lying wet areas stepping up onto native rainforest plateaus. Your closest neighbours are the local wildlife. The birds, kangaroos and wallabies live a happy life beyond the natural bush barrier surrounding the home.
There may never be a property offered of this type available to the open market. Typically, properties of this nature are held tightly and passed down through generations. With our sellers having a time-frame in mind in order to achieve a sale, we urge you to make contact as soon as possible to prepare yourself to purchase. Aussie Summer and cicadas
I was going through the famous KOKODA Memorial track walk this Friday. Well I was not very happy since my sole purpose of being there was to get my blood test done! Anyway, Don't get me wrong guys, this is one of my best summer in Australia and hoping it will end up being one. The deep blue sky, crickets (cicadas) and warm breeze make the summer days more happening :)

We visited a wetland area where they are restoring the mangroves. Mangrove are an important part of our environment as they filter much of our pollution as well as supplying food for many small water life, which helps the food cycle.

Mutton Bird Island - part 3
Each year our family makes the trip for around one and a half months to Big South Cape Island or Taukihepa, it is an offshore island of New Zealand to the west of the southern tip of Stewart Island. The island has no permanent inhabitants but our family and other muttonbirders visit the island each year to exercise our traditional Maori rights.
In Pt 3 I showcase some great spots on the island and ride out a storm.
