The Scottish Highlands: 24 hours in Glencoe
We headed up to Glencoe, Scotland in this vlog and explored some more of the Scottish Highlands.
It has to be some of the most incredible landscape in Scotland. Maybe even the UK. Maybe even the world.
Seriously though, there is something mesmerising about the trip up there and I can't recommend this enough!
The place we stayed is called River Beds Lodges. It was nestled in the forest, by a bubbling brook and was perfect.

The Lost Valley - Glencoe - Hillwalking Scotland
This was my first trip to the lost valley in Glencoe. I’d heard so many people talk about it and seen so many pictures that i had to go take a look for myself. It did not disappoint! The lost valley is a one of a kind special place, tucked away between two of the 3 sisters of Glencoe.
The lost valley takes an hour or so to reach on foot over straightforward terrain and the effort is well rewarded.
After reaching the valley, we headed up the far end to the summit of Stob Corie Sgreamhach, a Munro at 1072m. The visibility on the day was superb and we could see over to the Mamores, the rest of the Glencoe Munros and some of the more southern Munros such as Ben Lui and Ben Cruachan. We couldn’t have asked for more. Perfect day out on the hills.

Camping over Christmas in Glencoe, Scotland
It's become something of a tradition that Rich and I get together and disappear off into the wilderness for Christmas day. Last time, we went to the Lake District. This year, we decided to go camping in Glencoe, Scotland.
It was a very fun trip, although freezing cold (don't listen to Rich - it was cold!), and we got a lot of exploring done which will translate into future shoots at Glencoe and Glen Etive, especially when the snow comes!
We finally got to take that one shot from Skyfall, too. :)

Police name English walker who died in Scottish highlands days before Christmas
Police have named an English hillwalker who died on a trip to the Scottish Highlands.
Terence Rooney, who was known as Terry, died on Buachaille Etive Mor, Glencoe, on Monday.
Mr Rooney, 65, from the Norwich area, was a keen walker and outdoor pursuits enthusiast who often travelled to Scotland.
Police said inquiries to establish the full circumstances of his death are ongoing, although there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
Sergeant Deborah McCartney, from Fort William Police Station, said: Our thoughts and sympathies are with Mr Rooney's family and we would encourage respect for their privacy at this difficult and sad time.
Police Scotland would like to thank members of the public and Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team for their assistance.
Mighty Scotland - Travelmovie
Our 12-days-early-summer Scotland trip. We were really lucky as we encountered not one single splash of rain. According to the locals, this was a miracle.
Great nature - great food - great people. We hope that this clip takes you along on the journey.

Photo Scotland | Glencoe & The Hidden Valley
This week I took a trip up The Hidden Valley / The Lost Valley, both seems to be correct, with the camera. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect hike from the fantastic sunrise at Glencoe, the fabulous snowy hike up The Hidden Valley and to top it off a little drive up Glen Etive, all with some fantastic light and photos.
