The 1975, Robbers (live), Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, San Francisco, CA, April 22, 2019 (4K UHD)
The 1975 play Robbers live in concert at their sold-out show at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, California on April 22, 2019. The song was originally released in 2013 on their self-titled debut album. The 1975 are from Manchester, England and consist of Matty Healy (lead vocals), Adam Hann (guitar), Ross MacDonald (bass), and George Daniel (drums).
Matty Healy has said in interviews that the song was inspired by the Quentin Tarantino movie True Romance: It’s the sentiment behind the film that appeals to me, the hopelessly romantic notion that two people can meet and instantly fall in love, an escape story where love is the highest law and conquers all against the odds. Characters like Bonnie and Clyde always appealed to me as a teenager – couples so intoxicated with one another that they fear nothing in the pursuit of the realization of each other, actions fueled by blind unconditional love. ‘Robbers’ is an ode to those relationships.
Lyrics:
She had a face straight out a magazine
God only knows but you'll never leave her
Her balaclava is starting to chafe
When she gets his gun he's begging, Babe stay, stay, stay, stay, stay
I'll give him one more time
We'll give you one more fight
Said one more line
Will I know you
Now if you never shoot, you'll never know
And if you never eat, you'll never grow
You've got a pretty kinda dirty face
When she's leaving your home she's begging you, stay, stay, stay, stay, stay
I'll give you one more time
We'll give you one more fight
Just said one more line
There'll be a riot, 'cause I know you
Well, now that you've got your gun
It's much harder now the police have come
Now shoot him if it's what you're worth
But if you just take off your mask
To find out that everything's gone wrong, wrong, wrong
Now everybody's dead
And they're driving past my old school
And he's got his gun, he's got his suit on
She says, babe, you look so cool, you look so cool, you look so cool
You look so cool, you look so cool, you look so cool

Cleveland Connects - We're Behind: Lessons from Peer Cities
During a speech at the City Club in June, attorney Jon Pinney declared Cleveland “dead last” in economic progress and challenged the region’s leaders to come together around a strategy to accelerate growth.
To help frame that discussion, Cleveland Connects will examine how two other legacy cities have gone about reinventing themselves to become more competitive in a rapidly changing economic environment.
Stefani Pashman, CEO of the Allegheny Conference in Pittsburgh, and Mary Ellen Wiederwohl, chief of Louisville Forward, will discuss what their regions have done to align assets and find new paths to prosperity.

Timeline of Christianity | Wikipedia audio article
This is an audio version of the Wikipedia Article:
Timeline of Christianity
Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written
language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain
Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through
audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio
while you are sleeping! If you are planning to listen a lot, you could try using
a bone conduction headphone, or a standard speaker instead of an earphone.

SUMMARY
=======
The purpose of this timeline is to give a detailed account of Christianity from the beginning of the current era (AD) to the present. Question marks ('?') on dates indicate approximate dates.
The year one is the first year in the Christian calendar (there is no year zero), which is the calendar presently used (in unison with the Gregorian calendar) almost everywhere in the world. Traditionally, this was held to be the year Jesus was born; however, most modern scholars argue for an earlier or later date, the most agreed upon being between 6 BC and 4 BC.
6 Herod Archelaus deposed by Augustus; Samaria, Judea and Idumea annexed as Iudaea Province under direct Roman administration, capital at Caesarea, Quirinius became Legate (Governor) of Syria, conducted Census of Quirinius, opposed by Zealots (JA18, Luke 2:1–3, Acts 5:37)
7-26 Brief period of peace, relatively free of revolt and bloodshed in Iudaea & Galilee
9 Pharisee leader Hillel the Elder dies, temporary rise of Shammai
14-37 Tiberius, Roman Emperor
18-36 Caiaphas, appointed High Priest of Herod's Temple by Prefect Valerius Gratus, deposed by Syrian Legate Lucius Vitellius
19 Jews, Jewish proselytes, astrologers, expelled from Rome
26-36 Pontius Pilate, Prefect (governor) of Iudaea, recalled to Rome by Syrian Legate Vitellius on complaints of excess violence (JA18.4.2)
28 or 29 John the Baptist begins his ministry in the 15th year of Tiberius (Luke 3:1–2), saying: Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near (Matthew 3:1–2), a relative of Jesus (Luke 1:36), a Nazirite (Luke 1:15), baptized Jesus (Mark 1:4–11), later arrested and beheaded by Herod Antipas (Luke 3:19–20), it's possible that, according to Josephus' chronology, John was not killed until 36 (JA18.5.2)Jesus begins his ministry after his baptism by John and during the rule of Pilate, preaching: Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near (Matthew 4:12–17). While the historicity of the gospel accounts is questioned to some extent by some critical scholars and non-Christians, the traditional view states the following chronology for his ministry: Temptation, Sermon on the Mount, Appointment of the Twelve, Miracles, Temple Money Changers, Last Supper, Arrest, Trial, Passion, Crucifixion on Nisan 14th (John 19:14,Mark 14:2, Gospel of Peter) or Nisan 15th (Synoptic Gospels), entombment by Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus, Resurrection by God and Resurrection appearances of Jesus to Mary Magdalene and other women (Mark 16:9, John 20:10–18), Simon Peter (Luke 24:34), and others, (1Cor.15:3–9), Great Commission, Ascension, Second Coming Prophecy to fulfill the rest of Messianic prophecy such as the Resurrection of the dead, the Last Judgment, and establishment of the Kingdom of God and the Messianic Age.
The 1975, Sex (live), Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, San Francisco, CA, April 22, 2019 (4K UHD)
The 1975 play Sex live in concert at their sold-out show at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, California on April 22, 2019. Sex was originally released as a single in 2012 and later appeared on the band's self-titled debut album in 2013. The 1975 are from Manchester, England and consist of Matty Healy (lead vocals), Adam Hann (guitar), Ross MacDonald (bass), and George Daniel (drums).
Lyrics:
And this is how it starts
You take your shoes off in the back of my van
My shirt looks so good
When it's just hanging off your back
And she said use your hands and my spare time
We've got one thing in common it's this tongue of mine
She said she's got a boyfriend anyway
There's only minutes before I drop you off
And all we seem to do it talk about sex
She's got a boyfriend anyway
She's got a boyfriend anyway
I love your friend when I saw his film
He's got a funny face but I like that because he still looks cool
She's got a boyfriend anyway
She's got a boyfriend anyway
Now we are on the bed in my room
And I'm about to fill his shoes
But you say no
But do you say no
Does he take care of you
Or could I easily fill his shoes
Do you say no
Do you say no
And now we're just outside of town
And you're making your way down
She's got a boyfriend anyway
She's got a boyfriend anyway
And I'm not trying to stop you love
But if we're gonna do anything we might as well just f**k
She's got a boyfriend anyway
She's got a boyfriend anyway
You've got your tongue pierced anyway
You in your hightops anyway
You in your skinny jeans anyway
You and your fit friends anyway
I'd take them all out any day
They've all got back combs anyway
You've all got boyfriends anyway

The Power to VOTE!
This wide screen 35mm short film was designed to run during previews of coming attractions in movie theatres. Filmmaker Tom Lenard's objective was to design the approach in such a fashion as to have the audience believe what they were watching was a preview of an upcoming motion-picture and thus, be more likely to catch their attention rather than if they recognized the film as a public service announcement right away...This 35mm film ran on 250 movie-theatre screens in Alabama.
This science fiction film was Tom Lenard's first 35mm film designed and released to move theatres. Tom filmed this project with 35mm Arriflex BL Camera package.
NOTE: The young people were positioned on top of several 8' tall x 10'x 10' staging platforms inside the main coliseum at Auburn University. A forklift then was used to lift a real voting booth up to help enhance the effect of the voting booth rising from the ground. The dry ice and fog helped blend the platform with the background. Many large rolls of black background paper was used as the background and they were taped together and held up by many large C-stands. Before they were hoisted up into place, thousands of small holes were punched into the black paper so back lights could create a subtle effect of stars in the background....The scene where the young people then turn around and are washed in light and a blast of wind was filmed on the coliseum floor, as was the scene where one of the young girls move forward and into the mockup booth along with the wind blowing and fog billowing about her. It was sooooo hot in the Coliseum that one of the most refreshing moments was when those scenes were filmed because of how that fast moving air from the wind machines felt so wonderfully cold to everyone. The production took just about all night to capture and then wrap the equipment from the coliseum. I recall us finishing at about 5am that morning. Set-in time had been the evening before around 4-5pm or so.
TRIVIA: Tom Lenard was well ahead of the curve when it came to diversity. Notice, the diversity in the group of young people represented. Since this project was filmed in June of 1984, the young people casted were students of Auburn University. They are now, well into their mid 40's.
Filmed in Auburn and Opelika, Alabama in September of 1984.
PRODUCTION CREW:
Tom C. Lenard, Producer, Director/DP
Bob Cooley, First AD
Tom Causland, 2nd AD, EFX Props & Key Grip
Mike Davis, Original music and sound efx
John Suhr, Voice Over Talent
Philip Gowan, Production Assistant
(DP- Director of Photography, AD=Assistant Director)
VOICE-OVER: John Suhr. John is out of Columbus, Georgia. He has performed numerous voice-overs and performed as a fine actor on-screen and proved extremely valuable as a sounding board to Tom Lenard on many of his films over a period of about twenty years. John and Tom Lenard would spend countless hours and hours over coffee talking about the projects and dreaming their dreams about the films they wish to develop. A wonderful professional collaboration. John had own his own advertising firm in Columbus Georgia for many many years in the late 60s and 70s. Currently, John is in charge of graphics for a creative team that creates national newspapers Auto Dealer ADs.
MUSIC: The incredible music bed and background effects were created by Mike Davis who worked with Tom Lenard at the time and later ended up being the Keyboard player for Dolly Pardon and traveled with her band.
