Pentru bucuresteni Parcul Comana reprezinta o oaza de relaxare la care se ajunge destul de usor si rapid in mai putin de 2 ore. Este ideal pentru o vizita cu familia, parcul oferind multe activitati pentru copii, intr-un spatiu de poveste: escaladare copaci, tiroliana peste lac, plimbari cu bicicleta sau ponei, plimbare cu barca sau cu trenuletul, zona cu restaurant, terase si pontoane, locuri de joaca si spatii pentru picnic.

Parcul Natural Comana infiintat prin Hotararea de Guvern nr. 2151 din decembrie 2004 este situat in zona de sud a Romaniei, la 40 de km de Bucuresti
Parcul de aventura Comana cuprinde 6 trasee pentru copii, 3 trasee pentru adulti de dificultate progresiva (usor, mediu si dificil), o tiroliana peste lac si o cascada de tiroliene.
Suprafata Comana este de 24.963 ha.

Pasari: 141 specii, din care 71 protejate international, prevazute in anexele Conventiei de la Berna, iar 15 in Directiva Pasari a Consiliului Europei, nr.79/409
Pesti : 13 specii identificate prin studii (date mai recente identifica insa 19 specii), dintre care 5 specii sint protejate de legislatia nationala (cleanul-Leuciscus Boristenicus- apare pe lista rosie a speciilor de vertebrate din Romania si este present cu o subspecie endemica ; tiganusul- Umbra krameri ; tiparul-Misgurnus fossilis ; doua specii de guvizi )

Parcul Natural Comana este o arie protejată de interes național ce corespunde categoriei a V-a IUCN, situat în Muntenia, pe teritoriul județului Giurgiu.
În parcul natural se găseşte Balta Comana, a treia zonă umedă din ţară după Balta Mică a Brăilei şi Delta Dunării, fiind a doua ca biodiversitate după Deltă. Aceasta s-a transformat de-a lungul vremii în casa a 141 de specii de păsări şi a 13 specii de peşti, dintre care două - ţigănuşul şi cleanul de Comana – se găsesc doar în această zonă.
A doua Delta a Romaniei se afla la doar 30 km de Bucuresti, fara ca cei mai multi locuitori ai capitalei sa cunoasca macar potentialul extraordinar al acestei zone pitoresti care se regaseste la jumatatea distantei dintre Bucuresti si Giurgiu. Transformat in parc national in anul 2004, Comana adaposteste 141 de specii de pasari, 3 specii de pesti, stejari seculari, 31 de specii de mamifere dintre care 5 protejate, 8 specii de reptile si peste 1.250 de specii de plante.

At an almost equal distance between Bucharest and Giurgiu, Comana Natural Park can be found. It has an impressive area of over 24,000 hectares, of which 8,000 are forests, and the rest of it means ponds, marshes, pastures and slopes. In other words, an ideal environment for special plants, birds and animals.
Not accidentally, the decision to set up the natural park was adopted on the basis of the documentation developed since 1954 by members of the Romanian Academy. Everything was done to protect two unique floral areas in the world. It is about the Scientific Reserve of butcher's-broom (Ruscus aculeatus) and the Scientific Peony Reserve (Paeonia peregrina). These two reservations have been supplemented in 2004 with Balta Comana, as nature reserve, as well as an avifaunistic protection area.
According to experts, 141 species of birds live in Comana Natural Park, 71 of which are protected internationally, but also over 13 species of fish, some of them on the red list. We recall the Squalius cephalus, called the most fearful fish. Here also live the otter and the wild cat.

Just a few people know that the second delta of Romania is just about 40 km south of the Bucharest.
Comana was converted in Natural Park in 2004 and houses more than 141 species of birds, 3 species of fish, secular trees, 31 species of mammals (5 protected), 8 species of reptiles and over 1,250 species of plants.
Here you can find a list some of the most interesting:
* Neajlov Delta - is regarded as the country's second delta biodiversity, including an ecosystem comparable to the Danube Delta.
- Small Balta Comana - for the passionate ones, on this lake you can fish for a fee of 60 lei(about 15 euros) for 12 hours.
- Comana Adventure Park - was opened in 2014 and have 4 trails for kids and 3 hiking trails for adults. You can check for more details:
- Comana Monastery - a stop at the monastery-fortress, built by Vlad the Impaler (Dracula) in 1461, is mandatory. Currently, the monastery is impressive architecturally, with 5 towers protrude from the walls.

Acesta este primul vlog adevarat despre Parcul Natural Comana, si primul episod despre acest Parc Natural, cel mai mare din sudul Romaniei.
Postarea aceasta vine de la o persoana foarte pasionata de Parcul Natural Comana.
Sunt Ciprian Teodorescu, ghid montan si ghid national, si mi-am propus sa fac vlogging despre traseele montane dar si despre Parcul Natural Comana.
Dupa 240 de explorari, excursii cu turistii, in acest tinut, sunt in masura sa arat frumusetile Parcului, pe un vlog.

About Comana Village
Comana is a commune in Giurgiu County, southern Romania. It is composed of five villages: Comana, Vlad Țepeș, Budeni, Falaștoaca and Grădiștea. The commune is approximately 32 kilometers (20 miles) south of Bucharest.
Comana is part of the Giurgiu county, which is among the less developed areas in Romania, and, in the same time, is part of the Comana Natural Park, a Nature 2000 and Ramsar protected area.
Comana Monastery is located in the commune, as is Comana Nature Park, the largest protected area in southern Romania.
On the night of 6 to 7 of May 1944 a British bomber crash-landed at Comana. The aircrew were killed ( )
About Comana Natural Park
Is a natural reserve near Bucharest, situated in Giurgiu county, at approximately 30 km. Comana Natural Park is well-known for its Delta of the Neajlov River, home for waters, birds, trees and abundant vegetation.
In the month of May there are lots of peonies blooming in the Comana forest, an occasion for the locals to celebrate spring, during Peony Fest (Sarbatoarea Bujorului).
