Comox-Helmcken Greenway
The Comox-Helmcken Greenway is an important east-west connection through Downtown from False Creek to Stanley Park for pedestrians and cyclists of all ages and abilities.
The Greenway is being developed in two sections with Section 1 of the Greenway now complete.

The Comox-Helmcken Greenway project:

Mark R. Isfeld Secondary School is named after Canadian Forces Master Corporal Mark Robert Isfeld who was killed while conducting demining operations near Kakma, Croatia on June 21, 1994. Chasing A Dream
PARKSVILLE - The Canadian Tour is holding its Qualifying School at Morningstar Golf Club in Parksville.
Among the 39 golfers in attendance, is Riley Wheeldon.
Wheeldon, 20, of Comox held the lead after 18 holes, shooting a 6-under par 66.
Wheeldon is hoping to finish in the top five, which will earn him exempt status on this year's tour.
Qualifying School brings a week of stress, forcing golfers to play their best on every hole. If successful in qualifying, a Summer of professional golf awaits.
The Canadian Tour is used by golfers as a stepping stone to their ultimate golf of playing on the PGA.
Wheeldon triple bogeyed his thirty-sixth hole and finished his second round at a two-over 74.
Wheeldon is being chased by the rest of the field, holding a one shot lead but is ultimately chasing his own goal of playing professional golf.
