Conkle Lake
Images and video from Conkle Lake near Osoyoos, snorkeling in the shallows, through lily pads and along the lake edge. 100,000's of trout fry and juvenile trout in this lake.. hard to believe they bother stocking this lake given all of the apparent natural recruitment!!!

Camping 2012 - Conkle Lake
Another installment of our camping adventures. This one takes place at Conkle Lake, approximately 45 minutes outside of Osoyoos, BC. Celebrating five peoples birthdays that were at the end of August and early September made the trip more special than our usual undertakings. Glowstick parties, floaties, and an unusual beer bong made for a much needed reunion with great friends.

Kayaking today on Conkle Lake
We left Oliver BC at about 7:00am and after a long drive we arrived at Conkle at about 10am. The road from Brides-ville was a dirt road mostly good. Some washboard and loose rock on the road.
The lake was great with a huge sandy beach on the North end with picnic tables and some sandy little pocket beaches on the N/W side.
Robin and I paddled following the shore-line starting from the North counter-clockwise and returned to our Put-In spot at the North end. Stopping for lunch of smokies cooked on my camp-stove on the S/E shore.
Vary quiet lake no powerboats sign said max 25kw motors aloud.
I heard talk of a waterfall we followed the trail labeled Falls and found the waterfalls area that were not vary impressive at this time of the year. Probably spring they are more significant.
Many people fishing, kayaking and swimming in the lake. Water was cool and refreshing.

Road Tripping Jasper to Kelowna
After finishing a winter season in Jasper AB, we bought a car and road tripped to Kelowna BC, camping along the way. Passing through Golden, Revelstoke, Nelson, Crawford Bay, Osoyoss, Penticton and everywhere in between finishing in Kelowna. This is our one and a half months on the road, seeing some of what British Columbia has to offer.

At the beginning of our RV Living Journey I was running 2 Blogs, 2 Facebook business pages, 2 Instagram accounts, and Google Plus and YouTube, along with a Photography Website and we’ve both written articles for publications.
It was just too much of a commitment being on the road and trying to manage them all.
We have decided to focus on video creation and have retired the others. We apologize for any confusion, for any end credits on our older videos.

Hiking Wells Gray Provincial Park With Friends
What the world needs is hope and healing one step at a time.
Had a fabulous week long camping trip with a dear friend and her husband in the heart of British Columbia. She is very knowledgable about the wildflowers and loves nature as much as I do! The mystery bird is solved -- it was a Swainson's Thrush. We experienced epic waterfalls and woods. The trails at Wells Gray are excellent and so many options from alpine to deep woods. This was filmed in 4K.
