Summer 1951 - Copenhagen Cable Park
#1: Denmark - Christmas Trip to Copenhagen with lots of food and places!!!
My first vlog!!! iPhone quality haha :)
Winter Trip 2017 - was very glad that we could spare a few days to go visit this beautiful city. It gets dark everyday at around 4pm in Denmark (we only realised this mid way of the trip haha) and had to purposely wake up early to do everything as early as possible. Was still very lucky to be able to visit so many places :)
Day 1 - Tivoli Gardens
Boys must love this amusement park (because Kevin begged me to save a whole day for this) and I think it is very worth it!!! Especially going in the winter, Christmas vibe x 100
Day 2 - Stroget Street, Nyhavn
This street must be girls’ favourite then, it is a free shopping street full of thousands of shops, as well as several Christmas market in winter time.
You have to visit Nyhavn both in day and night time! Day time you can see the line of colourful houses, and at night they’ve put up so many night and Christmasy decorations which makes it very romantic for couples!!
Day 3 - Paper island, Church of Our Saviour, Christiana
Paper island is located across the river from Nyhavn, by walk around 15 mins. People go there for food, food and food. Such a cozy and chill place.
Unfortunately when we visited Church of Our Saviour it was closed due to the rain, but apparently the views up there is amazing, especially walking up through the winding staircase. The inside of it is worth to go for a look too, built in Dutch baroque style.
Day 4 - Amalienborg, Carlsberg Brewery
Amalienborg is the mist go place if you ever visit Copenhagen, the Danish Royal Guards marching everyday at 12noon there, accompanying by its music bands. Very cool.

Welcome to a rainy and windy Copenhagen!
I love it here, it’s hub of scandi art and culture. It’s the home of the fashionable hygge concept and was voted the most bike friendly city in Europe. It feels like home. That feeling where you can’t describe why… but the vibrancy of the people, and the coziness of culture…its just a place you won’t forget in a hurry!
Coming up we’re gonna help you get around the city, learn some of the basic lingo, try some Danish delicacies, and give you some useful tourist tips but first of all we’re starting at the airport
Copenhagen airport is the largest in Scandinavia. It’s clean, modern and super efficient. From here the best ways to get into town are to take the metro or a taxi.
Metro platforms are at terminal three and all trains go into town, so no need to worry about getting the wrong one. Ticket machines only accept cards or coins, not notes - so watch out for that.
Taxis are available outside arrivals, costing around £35 and it takes about 20 minutes to get into town.
Copenhagen is one of the most bike friendly cities in Europe. So, grab a bike from one of the many places you can rent them here, get in the cycle lane, and go and tour the city in one of the most authentic ways possible.
We found a rather fantastic app while in Copenhagen. Donkey Republic allows you to hire a bike right from your phone almost anywhere in the city. Each bike is unlocked with bluetooth, so just select your location, find your numbered bike and away you go.
