Sigatoka River Safari B Roll Coral Coast Fiji
Just one of the many activities to be had on a road trip along the Coral Coast in Fiji.
The Coral Coast is an 80 km (50 mile) stretch of stunning coastline on the southern shores of Viti Levu, the largest island of the Fijian archipelago. It is ideal for a road trip between Nadi and Suva, the two largest towns on the island, especially if you'd like to get away from the hustle and bustle of these busier resort towns.
Take a detour from the main highway to experience Sigatoka River Valley where you'll find adventure, wildlife, nature and culture. Or head to Sigatoka town for shopping, arts, crafts and to meet locals. Don't forget the Sigatoka Sand Dunes where you can take a walk, go on a guided tour to see old archaeological sites and ancient Lapita artefacts or go bird watching.

Nadi To Sigatoka Fiji Day Trip By Bus
Nadi to Sigatoka Fiji
Nadi is a city on Fiji's main island. The South Pacific country's main transportation hub, it's also home to Sri Siva Subramaniya Swami, a Hindu temple reflecting Fiji's large Indian population.
The two bus services that go to Sigatoka from Nadi and Suva are Sunbeam and Pacific Transport. Buses are by far the cheapest mode of transport but take a slightly longer time than car or taxi.
Sigatoka is a town in Fiji. It is found on the island of Viti Levu and is situated at the mouth of the Sigatoka River, after which it is named, some 61 kilometres from Nadi.

Around the Coral Coast, Fiji
Another home movie, this time in and around the Coral Coast of Fiji. Making stops at Maui Bay, Uprising Fiji, and Tambua Sands over a couple of days, unfortunately we weren't exactly graced with great weather each time. Vinaka to everyone for having us - the countdown is already on to get back.
Stay tuned for more clips of the trip. (I'm still so new to this editing thing, so it's taking me much longer than I thought it would to convey the trip as a whole. I'll get there though.)

FIJI - Sigatoka River Safari
Fiji's Sigatoka River Valley is just gorgeous! During our visit, we had the opportunity to tour the valley via the speed boat River Safari excursion... Here's a glimpse of some of the beautiful scenery on the first half of the ride from the seat next to the driver - before the drenching 360 degree turns started!

Coral Coast, Fiji: A day in paradise
Grab a coffee, a bilo of kava, whatever it is that makes you feel comfortable, and join this (some will say unnecessarily long) trip around the Coral Coast of Fiji.
Stopping at Shangri-La's Fijian Resort and Gecko's Resort over the course of two days, we had a great time. Drop a note in the comments if you want some more information about budget stuff (this is *definitely* not a sponsored post), but hopefully it gives you an idea of what to expect when you get there.
Big vinaka (thank you) to Fiji Airways for looking after us all the way there and back. Big LOVE to you guys. Find your tickets at fijiairways.com
